TNA is what made WWE realize the potential for Christian. They put a much deserved world title around his waste and WWE thought to themselves "oh shit we suck we should've done that.." Well WWE has the chance and they seem to be on the right path. If he isn't in a world title match at Wrestlemania I will be very surprised and PISSED to the max.

To the WWE, yes. In reality, no. In reality it is one of the 3 world titles that the WWE has. It is still referred to as a world championship, and hell WWE tried to even go with the idea of having the last three matches be about the ECW title, the WWE title and the World Title (like they did at Summerslam and Breaking Point) and the next time the ECW title gets on a PPV, the same thing will most likely happen.

How did WWE ruin ECW? It's a show that features great wrestling and imo is the best show WWE has to offer. They put on great free TV matches and you see young talent being built up on the show. I see people make complaints about Raw and Smackdown, and yet those same problems that both shows seem to have don't exist on ECW. I don't understand why people hate the show so much.

I do agree that TNA has the better product atm especially with an outstanding turning point PPV.

I only consider it a punishment because the ECW program--and it's title--lacks the legitimacy of the titles on the two other shows. Think about it, what competition does he really have: Dreamer, Regal, Benjamin, Goldust, and the newbies. Hard to be respected as the cream of that crop.

I do believe, however, that with Jeff getting ready to bow out you will see the title dropped to Punk, and Christian moving to Smackdown. He and Punk could do a good program.

I dont think he's being punished. He was supposed to be Jeffs mystery attacker but the dumbass spoiler websites have to ruin everything & report it every where so vince was angry about this & changed the attacker to matt hardy. He's been put on ECW because there was nothing else for him to do at the time because it was a few weeks before wrestlemania so i expect he'll be drafted over to Smackdown in the next draft. Besides his ECW run hasnt been that bad, he's been given the title twice.

Yes the spoilers did mess it up, But being TNA's first major jump, Vince is infact still punishing him for it. Not because of what TNA did, but because he left in the first place. Even tho it was Vinces falt he did leave for never using him to his potentual in WWE.

Think about it...There has been two drafts this year...Both of them Jason Reso was not drafted in. Surely that has to show they are glueing him to ECW as punishment.
