Such a sad, soulful song. It added to the hopelessness you felt playing this game, as you went from one area full of impossible to beat until you level monsters, until you reached a certain plateau, and then literally COULD NOT LEVEL without grinding or going to the next level.
This game would've been much easier if they weren't so stingy with XP, but they were, and it got REALLY hard halfway through until near the end when you have the master equipment, high levels, good techs and spells.

You won't really be getting any help (all your allies will die, pretty much) so we aren't even going to lie: you're stuck in a dungeon, alone, with insufficient weapons, health, and skills, but you need to save the world. Oh, by the way, that Adamantoise you're going to fight? Yeah, he's going to kill you the first 5 times... go level up, noob!"
