@DavelovesRealMusic This man is one of the greatest guitar players in the world, actually on my list he's on top with Tommy Emmanuel and Steve Vai and John Petrucci. They all play different, but I can say - their arrangements are just blowing mind. Almost everyone can play fast and smooth, but to write such as arrangement you have to be just from another world.

I know you may have heard this already, but just in case you haven't; Back in 2000 Chet Atkins was asked to name his list of the top guitar players in the world. After naming them Chet remarked that "Doyle Dykes was the only one he would pay money to go hear play." Doyle does use a Fred Kelly "Speed Pick" on the thumb.and none on the rest of his fingers. I heard Doyle play when he was about 19 and he played the most accurate Chet Atkins style note for note that I have ever heard anyone play.

Totally possible! Just aim high and go for it. And no matter where you're at, you can always use that skill. And I tell you what, ask God to help you out each time you practice. He can do anything... Give us an ear for music and tone, and give us an ability to play passionately and skillfully. And that's pretty cool.
