Just watched it twice because I thought I had missed it somehow. I thought it must have been super quick that if I had blinked I had missed it. But no.. There was no "fastest flying armbar" at all. Just a sit & spin. I might suggest changing the title of the video.

@NicoleRutherford probably BJJ. Dropping to your back like that in judo is risky and, depending on your ref, could result in ippon for the other guy.

@basick21 Yeah, it is scoring like that that has ruined judo, when I started judo, throws that would of been given a koka or a yuko are now given as ippons. It is more a fight to get the first throw in now than an actual judo fight, it is sad and it is why Judo is falling behind the other martial arts.

Depends on the Referee, I went to Wales with my club to watch. one of my partners, a brown belt, threw the welsh competitor with a Tia O-toshi and got a Wza-Ari even though he clearly landed flat on his back, the referee was welsh, he won the fight but you can see the problem.

Yes, this is not a flying arm bar but its still good my friend. To be a fly arm bar you have to jump more higher from the belly. But your arm bar was so great!!!!

@dougdoug2006 not necessarily,you cant tell how good he is from this clip,some guys are just quck learners and athletic and he may still have huge holes in his game like all white belts do.Also ,he may have trined no gi for years before doing the gi.I trained no gi for 15 yrs on and off and then started at white belt in bjj.I was at least a purple or half decent brown but took time to get used to gripping strategies

thats in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM a flying arm bar....its a SITTING arm bar! I think sitting is just about the polar opposite of flying.  However, it was a nice sitting arm bar
