How to make a Piston Trap for PVP (Reusable, automatic, item collector)

There should be a delay between when the plate is pressed to when the pistons activate(well deactivate) to make sure they are over the hole, most people can react quick enough to the floor opening.

@rollonurmomallnight I played before there were names on the items, when people called them pads, also, it is called a pad in the source code. Just like string is called silk in the src. I am a modder so that is why sometimes I explain stuff weird.

@mrhow2minecraft thanks it worked a bigger fall and no lava works the best less armour damage and it's quicker I also compensated for the feather falling enchantment

Is there any way you could make an updated video where it kills them under about 3-5 seconds because I'm on a server where people can use /spawn and get away quickly and just pickup their stuff when they respawn

@Shadow10975 if you extend the drop. Dropping is the fastest way to die, so if the drop is like 50 blocks I think that guarentees a kill even with diamond armor. I think, but I'm not sure. just make the drop a lot bigger, or add more layers of lava in the middle, or both.

@strikermovies4u yeah, a lot of people do. This one will get the people that dont. I could set it up so that if you just stand on the pressure plate, another piston comes out behind you and extends, pushing you in.

Just a tip: if you do a staircase and immediatly (1 block) after that you put the pressure plate, that will get less visible.
