  • I really like the Duhks. Saw them several times. Thank you for putting this together. For those who never heard of the Duhks, also check out Scruj McDuhk's The Road to Canso.

  • Here's my youtube channel below if you'd like to hear more songs I've written (the writer of this song).

    Thanks,

    Dan Frechette

  • NewScientist has a story about the recent jailing of UK Activists and I wondered; 'who would take their place?' The blog links to appalling videos on animal torture/experimentation which has awakened a powerful anger in me. How can this be allowed in our time? I googled "who would take my place" and found this unbelievably moving tune. I cried and cried and cried and cried. It hits a nerve for every injustice in this world. This song is just stunning. Bought their CD.

  • Also, kudos to the poster for the political montage. I believe this song was inspired by Michael Collins.

  • They've now covered a third Dan Frechette composition titled "You Don't See It".

The Duhks are a great band but this song is best served by Dan with Tania of the Duhks doing harmonies.

  • I love love LOVE this song kookie2599 - thank you for sharing this - do you by any chance have the full song please please pleeease?

  • The song's writer is Dan Frechette. The Duhks recorded this song for their album "Migrations." Check out some of Dan's stuff!

  • The Duhks also covered his "Mists of Down Below." Definitely one of my favorite songs, ever.

  • Amazing video!

  • Very nice. I had never heard The Duhks before. Thank you for sharing your video. Too bad the end gets cut off.
