What about the other way around? Doctor Who credits (and some cos they're shorter than the theme) with the Lois and Clark theme. There's certainly enough expolsions on Doctor Who.

It seems rather apt considering the title of a certain range of doctor who books ;) and if Russel T had his way the doctor would be superman, what I like is that the Doctor is a strange intelligent person armed with nothing more than a jumped up screwdriver.

It's not actually that strange; it's because they used the orchestrated version of the theme from the new series. And IMHO orchestration is what makes it right for Superman and *wrong* for Doctor Who. >:-(

I liked Lois and Clark and I also like Dr. Who but it does seem a little weird to hear the Dr. Who theme matched up with video from the Lois and Clark series. Nice idea though.

I don't remember the Lois and Clarke bit in the title... It was just called New Adventures of Superman when I was little.

In Britain it was just The New Adventures of Superman.
