In case you want to know, it's more than just family history, it's about how Ezio is NOT related to Altair. I know his armor, Codex pages, blah blah blah, but hear me out. A sailor that worked for Marco Polo (also an Assassin) was trained by another Assassin that stayed with Marco. In return for the training, he had to sail him to Spain. Long story short, pirates raided the ship, the codex pages scattered in various cargo that was taken by pirates and given to templars, and armor taken to Italy.

Not only do they look alike, it even says so in the game, how else do you think Desmond can look at his DNA history and get Ezio and Altair both? He only can do that if he's related to them,, aka, they're all the same bloodline. -___- Not to mention Ezio isn't the only Italian Assassin around you know.

@Crem2057 Looks like someone doesn't know what theyr'e talking about. At gamescom, a developer on Assassins Creed Revelations states that Ezio and Altiar are not related. He said one side of Desmond's family is the Altair and the other is Ezio, that's why he can access both memories. Look it up, I know what I'm talking about.

@vanzeposmith910 You're referring to Domencio which impo I believe is somehow related to Sef's, (Altair's son) daughters, and Domencio is the assassin you're referring to. Domencio changed his surname to Auditore later on, and opened the bank, generations later Giovanni and Maria are born and the rest is history. I believe Domencio is related to Altair probably via Altair's son's daughters. Either way we'll all find out when the game or future games come out. :P

I'm still in the belief he's related to Altair, and even if I end up being wrong, I'm still going to believe it because that is how I've come to enjoy the games, envisioning Ezio being of Altair's lineage. If that tie is broken the games seem less pleasing somehow as the story is ultimately crushed by being disjointed. *shrug*

its a cool little bonus and u get all your same weapons and armor, its just a skin
