I was too mentally fucked up apparently considering that my blood pressure was hot (biphetamine 20) and the multiple choice answers on the tests were in a neat pattern zigzagging down the page. I had been hospitalized a few times and a drug abuser. I, too, was too immoral to kill and maim Viewnamese people.

But you probably could not have helped anyway, Americans were already turning weak by that time and could not stand up to tyranny in this world as they had in Korea and WW2. Or can be played 3-4 times back to back as you head out the door.

Once I was 3 minutes in I figured "Might as well finish the rest of the song." So that's what I did, I finished the rest of the song and there it was.

Yesterday, I missed the traditional noon time radio playing and was bumming about it this morning. Yours was the only copy of what I consider the "real" version. This epic song by Arlo Guthrie, son of folk legend Woody Guthrie will always go hand in hand with Thanksgiving for me. In my childhood in Philadelphia they showed the film "Alice's Restaurant" every year at Thanksgiving time! Thanks for the memories! ♫

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos! They are wonderful and entertaining. I first heard Alice's Restaurant as a little girl from my dad's cassette tape and I thought it was great then and get warm fuzzies listening to it now.
