it was a great game, brings back old memories, i remember at 5:01 that there`s a secret spot where you can replenish your energy and gain the weapon of your choice plus the option of shooting that weapon three, or two times, i can`t remember if its belowthe stairs or if you have to jump through the void, anyway once you get it you can go back at full strength to face Dracula.....

The music is so great. I especially like the 'Vampire Killer' theme in the opening of the level. Its my favorite castlevania music piece.

You kill Dracula way too fast, I can't enjoy the last battle as it should be enjoyed.

When he "rages", you should let us listen a little more of the music/battle.

too bad those end boss musics are just swapped & speedup music samples from early parts of the game,and i think they dit this cuzz they dit run out of space.

also despites the smooth controls most levels are still extreamly differcuilt like the falling stairs,aaarrrggg!!!!

another thing i noticed is that the music is from castlevania ( the original ) and castlevania 3 : dracula's curse. so.. wtf!?! am i missing something? wheres castlevania 2: simons quest?

Okay. You will probably think I am nuts or I suck or something...but what do you do if you make it to the bosses and you don't have the cross...I haven't found a video on here that shows you beating them without it...

Man, when I was like 9 years old, this level was frustration city for me. Also, I guess the cross/boomerang really IS the best weapon...I had no idea that you could just totally destroy all of these bosses with it like that!

Sidenote: I always thought this Death was one of the coolest looking bosses on any game!

@TheBabaORileyFactor this was the only level i couldent beat, the one we just saw, the one before the last bosses,i could beat dracula tho and slogra and gaibon but not death and not that level

This is definately the japanese version. The whip sounds more realistic, dunno what they were thinking in the european and american versions.

Maybe the japanese wanted to be better than the rest.
