i am Vietnamese so i can see how poor they are as compare to everyone else....this community is right under the LONG BIEN bridge which is inside of HANOI city limited....and the government can't see it despite the fact that it is a walking distant from the capital...........and the media keep telling the populace about a new high-rise is being built today, a new luxurious apartment is being planned, but they rarely mentioned the plight of these poor people ...

I happened to discover this video when I was searching for "floating lives" or "Cach Dong BAt TAn" a new hot film in Vietnam.

I hope you will post more videos like this so people will understand more about real life in Hanoi so they might get helped in the future.

I am living in Hanoi too. And I think if they know English they can sell things to English-speaking tourists to earn their living.

It's so sad watching this video:(. Really, it's hard to believe this poverty exists in HN. The gap between the rich and the poor is growing more and more :(
