COME ON IN is one of the BEST pro 2nd Amendment songs ever! Please take a listen and pass it around!! It is called by the rock band Preacher Stone. Thanks!
Caleb..... How the Heck you doing? It's Mark Goede from St. Louis. I got a kick out of you being a "RAT" on Top Shot. Anyone that knows you, also knows that is the furthest from the truth. When did you go to Blackwater? I requested your help for my match in August, Jeff Brown and a few others came and helped. I will see you again at the next Indiana State Championship..
Strive to be a armed freelance gun not obliged to follow the constitution ! If you think Johnny Jihad messed your friends dope up when they caught them, wait untill you employ your craft on your own countrymen ! up
.........He is sticking his gun out like he is on the 25 yard line, definately not CQB, hit a hostage, he is only putting 2 to 3 shots per target which of course is not enough, and once the first shots are fired it might be a good idead to let doors cool after opening them. But good job if its your first time. Get a magazine fed shoulder fired weapon, some buddies, more tools and a better combat handgun. My TL would have stopped me on room one for lack of rounds on target. On room 3...R.I.P.
The instructor says at the end, 'Very Good!". Yeah, very good if that was that guys first time in a shoot house. Poor choice of weapon, he stops when he shoots giving the enemy an advantage, it looks like he is doing tactical reloads which i think is a waste of time in a combat enviroment, needs to be doing combat reloads. He did a reload after door number 3 in front of an unengaged shoot target, and then did it again after door 5 and had a malfunction doing it.....to be continued
Experience and repetition will improve his abilities. Over time he will instinctively keep a round count and know that it is safer to reload while in a room that has been cleared rather than say, entering a new room, firing two shots and going "oh crap I'm out of bullets".
I saw this video, I will say the following: 1. I do not know what kind of ammo was used but I will say can make the difference in keeping you alive. 2. A wide ejection port will also help. 3. Choice of sidearm for CQB/CQC is very important. 4. What you learn can be a perishable skill-set without continued ongoing training.
Just in case I use a KIMBER CQB Elite 1911 and I simply love it. Granted I tricked it out for better performance...but it rocks.
A pistol is never to be used for CQB engagements. It is wise that he is training with one though in case your main weapon system goes down in the middle of a CQB encounter you are still proficient at getting the hell out alive whilst having reliance on your side arm.
Main weapon system is reliable but you must also train with your sidearm. Yeah he might have died but more than likely not since he would have typically had his main weapon system out and sling lead alot harder and faster.
I hope you mean in competitions Nikon777 , the only reason why he fumbled was because he had FTF issues which he already stated...1911's will never be dated. One of the most reliable handguns to date.
The fumbles were due to the gun failing to feed a round completely, which after over 1000 rounds in the dust at Blackwater isn't too surprising. As far as the reloads go, well there were a lot of targets to shoot at.
no u dont "have" to be formally military to get in but good luck if u are not coming from some kind of law enforcement background at least and yes working and training there are 2 different things my mom can sign up for a class at BW its not hard just go online you can also get a job with them if u have "special skills"anything that they could use if u are a very good competition shooter they might use you for training or sumthing like that

one reason i dont do 1911's. he reloaded way too many times and fumbled a bit too much. other than that, good stuff.
