They not only had Kemp and Gary, but Detlef, Kendal Gill in the earlier years, Hershey Hawkins, Sam Perkins was a great outside shooting center, Nate McMillan was a great backup PG and was a threat to led the league in steals every year. Just loaded.

This team, from 1992 to 1998 averaged almost 60 wins a year. I swear this is the greatest team to never win a championship.

Payton n' Kemp was one of the most fun 1 - 2 combo to watch in the early 90's. That was the squad back than, big smooth, Det, Hawkins, Mcmillan.. Perkins even had the best music mix on Kube 93.3.
