Cost of some meds are outrageous in some pharmacies. Check if you have a Costco near you. You don't have to be a member to use their pharmacy...just say "pharmacy" when enter and you can use only their pharmacy, not the rest of the store. We compared meds to make sure same base, same exact manufacturer, etc and cost was $900 at Walgreens versus $60 at Costco. Unreal but true.

Topamax generic does not help my seizures.  The insurance company will not help with the barnd name to make it affordable.

it does have a big difference....my husband responds well to the brand name rather than the generic.

me too i can not have generic brand topamax...all my other meds are fine except that one for some reason : / it's like like the generics wear off a lot faster, like twice as fast for me.
