My opinion is the Meg adapted and became the great white because the Meg was predicted to found in mostly warm waters and the great white is found in warm waters.

dude they make SMALL submarines to go deep in the water, they don't make big ones. This shark would not be able to fucking stand the god damn pressure that deep. If you knew anything about the ocean, you would realize that size doesn't really matter when it comes to water presure and even if that were the case, then explain the sperm whale. Just because they're big, that doesn't nesesarily mean that we would have seen one. Did you know that they just recently discovered a krill that supposily went extinct 50,000,000 years ago, but apparently we were wrong. Oh, and by the way, the kill is 6mm long

I have no doubt in my mind that they did/do exist, like kai said, we've explored so little of the ocean, if it does still exist, it is most likely in the deepest parts of the ocean.

My opinion is the Meg adapted and became the great white because the Meg was predicted to found in mostly warm waters and the great white is found in warm waters.

Its possible but thered have to be a huge conliny of them, about 20 and more and that. Also being so huge and being meat eaters wouldnt pretty much every other bit of sea life be dead? Cmon those things are huge! Theyd have to eat two great whites or more to be kept full. It might have been possible but look at the facts and its just slightly difficult to know.

I've seen a documentary that said that megalodons didn't live in deep water because the animals they hunted didn't and because the water was too cold in the botom of the ocean. So they would rather live near the coasts. What's more, they needed to eat something like 1000 pounds of food every day... where would they find that nowadays? On the other hand, the documentary also said that some teeth were 5 000 y/o... I mean, there were human beings 5 000 years ago... Ô.ô

very intressting video... I'm also very interessetet by those things... And by the way: theres one very big shark we don't know much about... It's called the greenlandshark... It can grow up to 8 meters... If you take a look at the pictures of this shark you would think it's a megalodon... Looks very prehestoric ^^

hey :) i believe it is possible but could also be impossible. weird? if you think about how much food the animal of that size would need to eat then it would need alot. also how do scientists know how deep the have searched the ocean ? they might of only searched 1% ? scientists can only go so far down and then there is no technology to help them.

the shark could still be alive though, it could be hiding in that percentage of ocean we havnt looked at. there could be infinite fish living down in the depths, new fish new life different species. these are all a possibilty.

no one can say that they are extinct because we have just explored 5% of the ocean and the scientist found fossils that say that, the one they found died about 11k years ago .... so if they survived milllions of years why should they not be able to survive 10k years more

they exsisted back when the planet was rich with life, there would have been sufficeint food sources to keep a creature alive of that size but when the dinosaurs where wiped out etc human civilization plus other element have made it impossible for an animal of that size to keep alive, all animals have been shrunk down so no nothing that size that eats meat can or could survive nowadays with out our knowledge, i hate to say but all these myths are bs, still cool though

I for one believe they are still out there. There has been teeth found that were carbondated at 10,000 years ago. If they survived millions of years what's another 10.000??? Then there's that story of those fisherman from Maine in like 1918(don't remember exact year) out at sea when they saw a huge shark they claimed was bigger than there boat. When they returned to land they were all shook up and were afraid to go back out for weeks. They are on land they aren't making any money. So, why not?
