I worked as deckhand on the Freshwater as a student in summer hols and paid for university.
1967-1972. A great time and a great laugh. Best job I ever had and here we are now in 2012.
Yup Captain Cudlip did manage to hit Yarmouth pier !!! Isle of Wight Pop Festival what a blast !

Excellent clip! Shame it was only 6 minutes! Could have carried on watching that for hours!
