get through the first ten minutes before you complain about it, sheesh!! I'd rather have the 10 minute text portion of the game than the 41 seconds of you complaining about a game you haven't even played yet. "He who can't dance thinks the music is no good"
This game rocks! I don't see what's so bad about it. The prequel (the real one, not the bootleg one) is also very underrated. I like the cell phone idea, the battle system, and all the Denjuu!
This just in, Pokemon was pirated too. Both Green and Crystal had some notably bad engrish bootlegs. You seemed to enjoy Fire Red without bias though, so I'm not quite sure what happened here.
Fire Red also featured huge amounts of japanese text. If you're refusing to play through some japanese RPGs but not all with that as your excuse, why even bother? A lame summary doesn't cut it here. At least say what was wrong with the game besides "I can't read". -_-
I played Fire Red without Bias because I've played that game before. I knew exactly what I was doing. I didn't bother give this a chance because I played the Bootleg version of Pokemon Diamomnd and I didn't like it at all.
Reviewing a game without playing it will only make people disrespect you as a reviewer. You must realise by not how pathetic your review sounds, and how it manages to contradict itself.
Personally I like the Telefang games because unlike the pokemon games they actually have a plot.
Well tell you what, I'll skip through all the text parts and get to the actual gameplay and re-review it at a later date. I guess I kinda have to agree about reviewing a game I haven't really played, makes me sound a little bit like Jack Thompson.
Pokemon Diamond was created when some chinese bootleggers decided to steal a quality game called Telefang and then fill it with bugs, then engrish text, and then try to pass it off as a pokemon title. The game Telefang (the Japanese one) was actually a good game and had nothing to do with pokemon apart from elements that have been common to monster collecting RPG titles for ages. The sequel should not be compared to Diamond but the real telefang games.
After you get through the text, it's hell of fun!
