The numbers falling out of the sky are a big slap in the face to Pythagoras, who couldn't account for them in his whole-number-ratio scheme. You can try to ignore them, if your ideology prevents you from accepting them. But still, they're there, and you're fooling yourself if you can't rethink your ideology to include them. Then again, I may be too high, and reading more into this than a sober person would ever do. To that I say, HA.

The Pythagoreans believed that there was no number that could *not* be described as a ratio of two whole numbers. Unfortunately, eventually one of their own discovered that they were quite wrong. There are an inconceivably vast number of irrational numbers (like pi, which never end). I loved this mod and that's the way I understood it. In math, the irrational completely dominates that rational. This was the basis of Cantor's hierarchy of different orders of infinity. Fascinating stuff.

I know it has something to do with Triangles... fucking obviously. I mean, the Pythagorean theorem was created by the greek mathematician pythagoras, stating that a^2 + b^2 = c^2. It's used to find the missing sides of right triangles.

Hey I've played this game a long time ago but now it doesn't work. I mean I can load the game fine, it's just that the scenes don't work. Then I look in the console and it says this, "ks scenes missing". Does this have something to do with the new valve update? Because when I go to the file directory, the scenes are perfectly in place. I installed it like I should've, but it doesn't work.

@Beardactal Same here, it's probably cause that now the Half-life 2 is using a new source engine from that Mac compatible update back in May, the old vcd scenes from the old source engine are not recognized.

I find it odd that Valve was all about allowing 3rd Party content mods and then after this they've done absolutely nothing to resolve the problem since most HL2 mods don't work properly or at all.

@ReconUnitZero I know. This mod was genius. Too bad Valve had to mess it up. "Don't fix it if it's not broken". A nice quote to Valve. Making an update to solve minor issues, can resolve in major issues.

This is one of those Half Life 2 mods that does not care about the original story of the main game, and just tells it's own story, set in a different universe.

And to be honest, i like that. Sometimes i hate how people who makes fan fiction, always feel the need to make it canon to the main plot.

For mods like this, i don't care about it too much.

I have the valve-complete pack but I cant seem to get this mod, or The Citizen to work. I downloaded hl2:wars and smod, do you know how you downloaded this? I used SourceMods folder cut the extracted folderfrom the name into sourcemods. Not working.
