If I had to say anything to Kirk about his live solo's its to stop putting wah on everything. The Fade To Black outro solo for example does not need wah.
es la primera vez qe veo q una cancion de metallica de 2000 en adelante qe cante y token las guitarras mas agudas de la version del cd, qe loco, casi siempre es mas agudo en los conciertos (actuales) woooww
A lot of people think this is an Irish song Nobody knows for sure It's a very old song and there are many different versions in many different countries cool version
@KrONiiKxDevelopments I think the versons done by The Dubliners and The Greatful Dead were with slightly different lyrics, thus this is a cover of the Thin Lizzy version.

@ninelivecat It's an Irish song originally.

@ninelivecat Thin Lizzy recorded the original version, I'm pretty sure. [:
KrONiiKxDevelopments 10 months ago
@KrONiiKxDevelopments The Dubliners and The Grateful Dead had recorded versions of Whiskey In The Jar before Thin Lizzy did.
HeavyMetalBeliever 10 months ago
@HeavyMetalBeliever Ah, my bad. I just assumed it was Thin Lizzy since they recorded their in the early 70's.
Thanks for the correction. :D

but i notice that they only play this song in Dublin !!! or do you know of a show that metallica had perfomed this song in other country ???
CidFlames11 1 year ago
@CidFlames11 one of the reasons they play it mainly in ireland is, whiskey in the jar is actually a 400 year old irish folk song

James always plays his solos perfectly. I wish Kirk was more of a perfectionist. Great performance.

@getthepoooffmybum kirks solos are alot harder than james'!
terkelterke 7 months ago
@terkelterke Yeah but Kirk even plays some of his easiest solos sloppy nowadays.
