You nailed it Beowulfsonur!. The Stones analogy is perfect. Still, I don't see either group gigging much. Hope it's not degenerated into any sort of lawsuit over material that'll keep the great songs in limbo for the next decade. Another thing to ponder is that no one remembers forever and there's SO many talented musicians in Asheville, these talented ladies could just vanish.
Too bad they had that rift that tore the quartet apart..The separate groups are known as Underhill-Rose and Firefly Revival..Still good, but just not the same. Firefly Revival's "Nobody's Woman" is such a good song except it takes a direct jab at their former bandmates I find unecessary, unprofessional, and a bit...immature.
The effect is that this split their fans too so that in some ways, it's been harder for either to get a gig in their home town.
@PappyCaligula ....Look how smart The Rolling Stones are why cause after all these years they are smart enough to stay together cause together they realize they can make much much more money... I say that in hopes that this group will get that same common sense. Seriously....
You ladies should come to Canada and become huge stars.
Please consider the Paul Simon song ... I dreamed I was dying...I dreamed that my eyes rose unexpectedly, the statue of Liberty, sailing away to sea. Starland Vocal Band covered this rather handsomely many years ago. I just cannot recall the name of the song.
