I agree with the get a sense of humor part, but MadTv has some funny shit too, you can't say the stan the coffee guy and kenny rogers jackass skits arent funny! But yes, these were the good old days of SNL.

Oh yes, this is one of those sketches that made me laugh very hard! One of the few bright spots from SNL in the 90s, and a true classic.
