I'd rather this not get onto the comment board, it's more of a question really. Are you interested in making a non-transformation film? I know this is going to sound stupid, but the thing is I have a story for a film that I believe you would be great at. You probably get that alot though, and even so I have no real way to do this on my own due to lack of funding and equipment I think it's right up your alley. I'd appreciate a message back if you can or are interested.

@Fightingpacifist21 There are several non TF scripts floating around that I've been interested in. I would do something none TF - but it would have to be something that I felt really passionate about. And that could be done within a modest budget. Unless we somehow get backers to help fund the project.

Y'know I've watched this probably a dozen times and I liked it every time, but one thing kinda nags at me... it kinda looks rushed to me. The very end I mean, where the Vamp gets his heart ripped out. Immediately after his heart is removed he drops to reveal the girl, and where the "Big Reveal" is all well and good shouldn't her strength, speed and power be implied? By calling her one of the "Princesses" the viewer would catch on naturally on her abilities. Not trying to judge, only advice.

@Fightingpacifist21 Good point. And yes... this was rushed. I think we shot most of this in one night. The story was based on by comic, TOUCHED BY THE HAND OF GOD (over at Femur's site). And I had to do many a compromise just to insure we shot this much. Thanks for the feedback - always appreciated ;)

The possibilities of the adventures and battles that lies ahead for Erik(a) is just too much to take! A TG Vampire superheroine is just an awesome take!

Say... Seeing as Erik turns into Erika at night and that Kyle and the other bloodkilling were-woman from 'The Kiss' turn into females every night of the Full moon... Think about it! A battle of the gender-cursed monsters in an intense and death-defying brawl! (or I guess technically it would be an awesome cat-fight!)

Yes. This was just a small section of a larger story I wrote back in the 90's called "Touched By The Hand Of God". There's a heck of a lot more that was supposed to happen beyond this. But I thought it might be cool to at least shoot a little bit of The Interview scene with Erik(a) and Melissa - who are two of the main characters.

Well I don't want to say too much more just in case I ever actually get my story published or even made into a movie one day. But let's just say Erik(a) ends up gathering a rag tag team of his/her own to confront the bad guys... including... some nasty and older vampires that want her for their own from around the world (Japan and Russia specifically). And at the same time - fighting the urge to become EVIL.

Oh great, you have a talent for making people hang around on cliffs. Sounds like a great idea.  I would love to know more and I think I may know where your story lead. But, that's just guesswork.

Yeah... I get the "want to see more" bit. I totally understand. But when you have limited budgets and limited time with the same cast and crews... you have to compromise on how much you can really pull off.

Well like I mentioned above - it's about Erik/Erika. And follows his/her story with dealing with various evil vampires, aquiring a rag tag team of friends, and also dealing with her own inner demons that can turn her evil at any given moment. I wrote the story back in the 90's. Even started creating a comic that I posted on The Siren Song above 5-6 years ago.

I mean, first the sound when he got his heart ripped out, the look on his face, then the music? MakoDap, in no way am I trying to be offensive. It is a good thing your on vacation to relax and do other things. but as the saying goes in your case, can never keep a tf filmer down.

But it was a shame however that superheroes did not come into your clips and films cuz in the case of this, a hero like my yet to rise Krystalman could have helped Erica in defeating the darkness.

In my creative mind i tend to make up story ideas using shows and such even with characters made up or from other areas of story to fashion in how i liked.

I agree with CNash85, the length definitely helped this one out as far as story development and pacing went. I sufferd a bit of Attention Deficit and was confused about why Lea gave Jade the twenty (went back to Part I) but otherwise a nice effort.

Q1. Did you "eliminate" the boom operator to avoid paying him?

Q2. Was the "Egypt/Roman" footage original or stock film footage?  Nice camera work, suspenseful.

Q3. Are Jade and Lea working on other projects?

Q1 = Nope. We had a boom operator. But it was his first time at it - and it was recorded lower than I would have liked. But what can you do?

Q2 = Some of it is original and some of it is stock. It's really a mix of the two.

Q3 = I believe so. Jade just helped produce a low budget horror movie and was a dancer in PINK's last performance on the MTV Music Awards. Lea has been doing some model work and I believe was in a music video not too long ago... can't remember which one though.

Yeah. Jade's a lot of fun to work with. I auditioned her for The Black Rabbit and she got one of the parts in it. When we decided to do the series I thought she would be cool to work with again - and she was excited to do them as well. She even directed The Trap. We did 2 little TF TG shorts for the TFTU DVD and Jade helped us out with one of them too.

This one's probably my favourite TFTU episode in terms of storytelling, direction and acting. Perhaps it's due to the length of the story - it can have a lengthy TF sequence and get in more characterisation and plotting, compared to most of the others, where there was little time either side of the TF for more than a set-up and denouement.

That's a great question. I still have lots of TF stories I'd love to bring to the screen... but what it really comes down to is the execution of making it all happen. And that is a question I can't answer at the moment.

I am currently burnt out, and need to take a break for a while. Once I get back on my feet... I'll figure out what my next step is ;)
