  • @tikya216 Actually, DOC came out in 1980.

  • love this song. reminisce my good old days during 79-80 when i was in college in san sebastian college in the philippines. hello mga dugong baste

  • hey guys mostly you can hear this music in the airport.

  • From the "Private Lessons" soundtrack. Good tune.

  • this is so cool! so pleasant to the ears! :))

  • This has "Weather Channel" Sunny Day written all over it.

  • Nah mean?! Well said!

  • When I listen to this tune at first by the radio from Radio Australia in Japan.

  • Hey hey, awesome song. I first heard this on someone else's tape in 1984, loved it but never knew what it was called. Thank you so much for sharing, man!

  • it' funtastic! thank you posting.

  • This (even though its from US) was the "un-official" "official" test music for the international shortwave service "Radio Australia", the overseas voice of Australia that broadcasts from Melbourne. This song was played THOUSANDS of times (between 1980 and 86), each time 5 mins before Radio Australia would switch on to broadcast to another region of the world.. HOWZ THAT FOR TRIVIA!

  • Pretty cool.

  • Gosh, thanks for posting! Got this cassette in Thailand 1981, and it was the soundtrack for the happiest time in my life. Wish it was avail on Itunes, or CD. Just the happiest, most positive tune. Lovely!

  • thanks for uploading. Do you have Moonlight Dancing by Earl Klugh? I like that song.

  • My fave! thnx for posting.

  • The song that introduced me to Earl Klugh. :)

  • it sounds like good elevator music

  • Great!!!! i really like this song very much.....

  • one of the best. my first time to hear the music again since 1995 when i got a copy on cassette tape and when internet was not yet popular. thanks i found it here.

  • thanks for uploading this song... been searching for this for a while now...

  • But the CD is glitchig at the beginning..or maybe it is the vynil...

BUT nice initiative to put "DOC" of EARL KLUGH". love it too...! CUTE!

I am music director for a radio station called Fréquence-plaisir and it passes on it.

  • Tony Brown, who was and still is a dj on wdas-fm in PHilly kicked this song alot back in the day. One of my favorite "relax and take it easy tunes" from my high school days. By the way, do young people these days even appreciate this type of music?

  • i do

  • me too!

  • Great song. Happy upbeat and tells a story not just about one character but a whole community, friends family everyone. Quick some one make a tv series!

  • So funny I was envisioning a young Denzel Washington who goes from the big city to a small southern port town. He has pressure from his successful Doc father to come back to the big city and be "An Important Doctor". Our hero overcomes and draws together the community who his charm and laid back attitude.

  • "mdentari" that is an interesting visulaization of the song...cool

  • Thanks. That's how good Earl Klugh is at story telling. Plus my idea probably has something to do with hearing this while song alot while living in tropical and beautiful Okinawa and Florida. Dad was military at the time and I was a kid. I had some great adventures and met some cool "Doc" like characters. The sun never seemed to shine as bright and the sky never seemed as blue and the grass as green as it did then. Doc will always be with me and for that I am grateful.

  • I've got fond memories of this song as well...

  • ohhhh..i like this song very much...

It reminds me of someone close to my heart..

  • This is my #1 favorite of Earl Klugh's.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • welcome! enjoy!!

  • I think this came out in 1980- Gene Dunlap played drums on this. I always loved this song. . . light and airy, full of hopeful optimism.

  • @radio71z ..what is the really titlle of this song?
