  • I have the same exact Rek o Kut turntable. I can't get the speed to be accurate for some reason. Bought a new belt, etc., still can't get it right. Yours seems very nice!

  • @TwinMillMC Thanks for your comment. Does yours act up on both speeds or ?

The motor-mounts maybe need adjusting ?

  • @VintageTexas59 It runs too fast on both speeds. The problem is there is no adjustment anywhere to fine tune the speed. Maybe the belt is too small.

  • @TwinMillMC Check the size, suppose to be 38 inch circumference (0.25" X 0.02").

I ordered one from Esoteric Sound:

  • @VintageTexas59 Thanks, maybe I'll try ordering one from Esoteric. I have a few turntables to bring in for service, so maybe I'll have this one looked at as well. Thanks again, & please sub me if you'd like! I've been posting many vintage audio videos and I'm sure I can use some of your feedback.

  • @TwinMillMC try a new belt, that maybe solve the problem. I got mine in today but

think the three motor-mounts need to be replaced, some wow /flutter going on.

Uploaded a new video just now by the way with a 45 spinning.
