I found some good teaching material on the internet. Google "Ferd'nand".

These are wordless cartoons. I have the students describe the situation trying to use all the important structures. Then I have the students role play the situation.

I've had a lot of success with this. It's the fastest way I've seen to give them a good command of important structures.

This is good material for language exchanges too. It's good for any language.

If you speak Chinese, you'll know that she is not teaching STUDENTS. She is actually sharing some teaching activities with other teachers.

i am now learning french and i hate it coz I would rather learn the words rather than the phrases as its alot easier learn a language i think.

She does have a great accent and what seems to be good rapport with the students, which is important. Looks like a very competent teacher, two thumbs up!

However, at what point do the STUDENTS actually speak English. This video highlights one of the problems in the Taiwanese education system, rather than display "the BEST way to teach child"

Too much focus on remember remember remember. Not enough focus on use use use =)
