Air Force 1 was flown low over New York for a photo opportunity, they wanted a new picture of it flying by the statue of liberty. This of course caused mass panic as people thought another 9/11 was occurring, and when Obama was asked about it he said he "didn't know." Even though its his plane and he would have had to give permission.
