never understood any house music documentary or history books that don't feature dancing... especially in a visual medium... i find it quite dull and boring to watch a dj play, especially if there are cats tearing up the dance floor... just my 2 cents - i'm out.
I Dj myself I'm just saying... what about the dancers, this music was made for dancing... and yet the dancers are always left out of most of the documentaries I see about House. And I don't mean raving, I mean lofting, jacking etc...
Not trying to get into any format wars (CD/Vinyl) but that was a great point about buying vinyl. I wonder at which piont House Dj's and Producers will get to a point where they are not bringing in any money. Not lots of stores selling Mp3's and if you can copy them you still lose money. Maybe we'll see dj's carrying around record crates again! J/K
Buy the vinyl...too many records stores are going out of business and thats one of the foundations of our house music culture...let's keep it alive Househeads!!!

Pretty lame clip; this is a documentary? All it shows is some footage from WMC; one can only hope there's more content than what is shown here.
