  • Thank Mr and Mrs Beck for JB. Never heard bad music out of him. Pretty raw on occasion, perhaps, but always full tilt heart and soul. I like the way Imogen sings this.

  • this passed the acid test with flying colours

  • there is no one else like Jeff beck.. we have copies of Hendrix and Clapton and many others..None have come near this man . the ONLY player i know of who utilises every part of rig, simultaneously.. rock on Beck ...

  • This is primal raw Sexuality. Reworked an old blues song and turned it into an orgasm. The Guitar's moaning is pure oozing raunchiness.

  • JB's fills are, as always, exceptional

  • ♪♫♥²↑⁀⁀☼ ;-j

  • Damn this is so different from Imogen's usual style and is so good. I wish she would do some more stuff like this.

  • nuff said........freak

  • i love the misfits

  • This is great but the live version is even better IMHO.

  • I played it live at my local blues bar. /watch?v=TJ9qDyX6cME

  • I could give a lecture just on the greatness of her first scream at the beginning... no kidding

  • Imogen is just great in this song!

  • You like this try Rhonda Smith. Audio is weak but grittiness is solid. Mr. Waters might be "rollin' & tumblin" in his grave but I bet he has dancing shoes.

  • I clicked on this by accident. I have never heard of Imogen Heap. But I now want to marry her for giving me this audio chocolate.

  • This is crap! Poor ol' Muddy now's rollin' and tumblin' in his grave man!

  • Jeff! JeFF!! JEFF!!

  • i'm wondering how this song sounds reversed :D :D

  • the album cover brought me here.

  • Jeff Beck has always been one of the best in the world, and this album proves it yet again ... Thx Jeff ...

  • Thumbs up if you came here to listen to a good song, not because of a TV show. :D

  • @mitchelliles94 TV show introduced me to this version of the song, I don't see anything wrong with that. And I'm loving it! :)

  • @rollagiovanni Yes, he uses a pedal. The live version of this you can see him do it.

  • @giovanni4188 Sorry, one doesn't have to suffer anything to sing or play Blues. From the beginnings they were artists and performing a character. It's all a performance of their persona.

  • TUUUNNNNEEE

  • 13 people were smokin' paint chips.... im just sayin'.

  • WOW. I would never imagine that imogen could sing like this! I'm completely blown away!

  • Thumbs up if Misfits brought you here :)

  • What's that bass pedal when the guitar stops and the lyrics go on!? That's even more deep than John Bonham's track for When the Levee Breaks!

  • @MrLino I may be wrong, but as far as I know, Jeff does all this awesome sounds without any pedal :)

  • @rollagiovanni You got it wrong friend, by "bass pedal" e mean the drum pedal. I was talking about the drummer haha :D

  • @MrLino yes! i noted after i've posted and then i've tried to delete and forgot about it, hehehe.

  • I don't think he is under-rated. Just ignored... this has to be the best version of this song I have ever heard or played.... and I used to play this a lot :)

  • @PeteHowlett

It's great, I'm with you. But better than Muddy? Hard to go there.

  • MISFITS FTW!!

  • if you like this, try i put a spell on you by jeff beck and joss stone - chills.

  • i like

  • Now this is a collaboration I never expected 2 witness!

    Timothy

    :o)

  • Fuck this track is deadly. Lucky to have stumble up on it

  • The bass is deadly too! at 2.16

  • very cool : )

  • Nothing thrills me any more, as Clapton says ... until I heard this! Great!!

  • trippy picture..... its not a black hand... its jeff becks with some black liquid on it or something to that effect... making hi s hand black.... trippy....

  • @codehendrix Jeff is a grease monkey. Always workin' on his cars.

  • He lives in my village. i just served him in budgens where he bought some cabbage :)

  • incredible beautiful song !!!!

  • 1:55

    thats what she said :V

  • Awesomest!!!!!!!

  • criminally underrated... I like that.

  • @unkleskratch If you listen to the whole cd you will hear a song that is sex with Imogen on vocals. Long live real music, die you f ing hip hop zombies.

  • 1:22 made me smile, I think Jeff is great with other artists but his solo career is meh.

  • blueprint for Jack White?

  • damn the vocals ruin it for me :(...to me this song is supposed to sound painful or troubled..not..whiny

  • She makes this the sexiest version of this song ever. The drums are primal and Beck does a fantastic job.

  • I was utterly amazed at the talent Jeff put into this record. Every song is great and this one is fantastic!! I read in a interview that Bob Dylan was asked who he thought was the best guitarist around. ......... and his answer " the one and only Jeff Beck" He is truly recognized by his peers even if the radio play doesn't.

  • excellent

    jeffs rocking it out!

  • this is a different level

    of talent

    here

  • this is da SHIT!

  • Who's fingers are those??? Mmmhmm

  • @Cleofizoid Most likely Jeff Beck's.... after he's had a wonderful day of playing with his hundred-thousand-dollars worth of classic cars.

  • Amaaaaazing. <333

Immy's voice and Jeff's playing are just beyond brilliant.

  • Was the beginning bit on Misfits?

  • Yup, I think so.

  • The first time I played my cd with this on it, I replayed it over and over and over. One of the best covers on this song ever. Thank god or someone for JEFF BECK.

  • this is off the hook!!

  • @AKMAC82 Hell yeah. God and Goddess. Take an old blues song like this that's been done into the ground and then breathe new life into it. I love the live at Ronnie Scott's version too! This performance just wrecks me!

  • When you hear a good guitarist, you go "wow!".

When you hear Jeff, you go "this is pure genius"

  • fuck yeah *_*

  • Man, I haven't taken that Live at Ronnie Scotts DVD out of my player since I got it about a month ago. Incredible!

  • 1:55

sounds like sex to me :V

  • Jeff Beck is criminally underrated. This is by far the best cover I've heard of this song. Even Cream's wasn't this good.

  • Jeff Beck is the best and most underrated British Guitarist. End Of.

  • @Fawksian21 you're right

  • @Fawksian21 Not bluezy enough for my tastes, but still awesome.

  • @Fawksian21 I am 19 and a fan of both Jeff and Eric. I saw Eric last year and Jeff a month ago and Jeff blew my mind. I love this song. The mid solo section is amazing on this song. It reminds me of sex

  • @Fawksian21 Agreed. I saw him live many years ago and he tore the house down. I'd just like to see him get back to more blues like this. For me, that's when Jeff really shines.

  • Love this album!

  • one note ,and i know its him....no one else puts so much phrasing into each note. manic vibrato, volume manipulation, tastfull use of a whammy bar... muscular adrenaline filled bends....

  • this is so damn cool! hah

  • Nice, but I like the live at Ronnie Scott's version better.

  • HOT

  • 2:15 listen to that bass!!!! woot!

  • man Imogen Heap and Jeff have GOT to get together more!

    Imogen heap <3

  • Hell, yes! Outstanding!

  • from 1:42 to 2:12

Sounds like sex to me :V

  • Whoo hoo!!

  • Long time since I've heard new stuff as good as this. Thanks a lot.

  • this song is actually a muddy waters tune.

  • you rock my friend

  • nop it is not,RJ did it before

  • good but i prefer the jeff beck's version

  • one of my new favorite songs of all time, heard this for the first time about 3 months ago. it blew me away. most excellent

  • Superb! Jeff shreds. I'd like to hear him get back to his bluesy stuff more often. Thanks for the post!

  • very cool!

  • Unquestionably excellent.

  • Imogen certainly deserved her grammy award. She is amazing, and in tandem with Jeff Beck - Whoooo!

  • killer.

  • huh

  • Music and vocal--incredible. Video?

  • i don't think Jeff Beck does videos, does he?

  • I luv this beat, there's something African about it! Where does Imogen's strange name come from?

  • I read somewhere that it was a name from something Shakespeare wrote ...

  • i think it sounds more native american maybe.

  • THIS was what was known as "tribal stomp". It started in 'Frisco at the Park

    Freak freely. It felt goood

  • OMG Hold those earphone tight and go off to another dimension. Right to the soul, chills of pure joy. What a gift when friends share these vids. Peace and Love. : -)

  • This gave me goosebumps.

  • Five stars foe me!

  • Saw them in Oakland in 2006. This video does not do ANY justice to her voice when she sings live... I got to listen to her sing, and she is such an INCREDIBLE vocalist... her control is also so fascinating. Its amazing to hear her live. I absolutely adore her. Not to mention, Jeff Beck does an outstanding job at being Jeff Beck, lol.

  • Saw them live at the LBC in Santa Rosa...they KILLED the place!!! If you didn't wear your earplugs, you left with your ears bleeding!

  • RIGHTEOUS!!!! Lord have mercy!

  • me rikey!

  • ritmo intenso, passionale molto corporale..

    concordo in pieno.

    grazie Piero.

  • no shit. MAXimo.

Yo soy un borracho ... maximo

    Baile locos

  • Sweet Screamin' Jesus!

  • Well put.

  • wow...very cool! Outside the box for Imogen...good for her.

  • This woman is in heat.

  • This woman is in heat.

  • What the heck do they have goin' on starting about 1:46? Some call/response from another planet.

  • Best version of this song I have ever heard. Jeff Beck is great, always willing to step outside the norms and stretch both himself and his fans. Imogen Heap's voice is terrific and this is a large departure from her normal fare. Just great music as always, what I expect from Jeff Beck.

  • Comment removed

  • she's the spice in his salsa!

  • Imogen Heap complements Beck's playing more closely than that Rod Stewart guy

  • "That Rod Stewart Guy" LOL

  • Comment removed

  • what else would anyone expect from jeff ;). only goood stuff. no scratch that awsome stuff :P:P:P:P

  • does anyone have the instrumental to this song?

  • Still wetting my pants at this. This raunch makes pornography soft as crap!

  • exc stuff

  • Do I know you? mmmm

  • This is the most awsome thing I have heard in decades!

  • I like Imogen Heap, but when I saw Jeff Beck's name on this... Well, let's just say that I had to have a change of pants.

  • The Great Jeff Beck--This is off of "You Had it Coming"--current rumor is that Jeff and Imogen will be doing a studio album together!! Let's hope so!!

  • I hope he get Vinnie & Tal to play on it.

  • Jeffery and Imogen ,,,,,,,,well they aught to be ashamed of dem selves....hooooooooahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

  • Download this before the men in suits have it removed!!!!!!!

  • is there a way to download it straight off youtube??

  • Hi, if you're using firefox browser there's addon's called download helper, there's quite a few progs on the net.

They download as flash files 'flv' and need a flash player such as 'Riva' to play them.

    google download youtube vids

  • FUCK YEAH!!

  • My dream concert video for 2009

JEFF BECK AND IMOGEN HEAP live performing ANGRY ANGEL !

  • what a combination. imogen and jeff!

wish they do more together !

  • One of my all time faves....sublime.

  • wow, what a new side of immi's voice I haven't heard. This is awesome!

  • Sounds like her 90's Imegaphony voice!!!

  • I think it's a good remix. I play blues guitar, bass and I dj techno . Just a matter if what you are open to . I'm not opposed to unnatural sounds rearranged with organic sounds, like guitar. But granted there are some bad mash-ups out there. keep your ears and mind open. stuff changes, deal with it

  • come on, this is done by a great electronica artist. It`s her take on it. You can`t expect it to be pure blues...it`s just a new take on it, and I for one think it`s exciting..

  • Great soul in here!

this is the true 'new millenium' version

  • And you have the credentials to make this judgement....how?

  • how does anything jeff beck suck big time?? you must be smokin somethin

  • Jeff Beck said he always wanted to do a hotrod version of this song, which is what this is: using the fire breath of hotrods (a passion of his) to express this classic tune. His futurist adventures with sound sets him apart from other guitarists.

  • excellent comment, spot on

  • And I thought "Cream" nailed this! Noooooo!

Holy shit! What a great arrangement.

    Yeah, Jeff! Cudos Immi!

    D.J.B.

  • PURE ROCK.

i love immi's vooice with this, its so raw and, just amazing!!!

  • Jesus props on this song!!!

Imogen kicks some solid ass here.

    What a team up.

  • she always kicks ass.
