What's the difference? I mean you say "massive" lag. But what's massive 3-4 seconds before boost kicks in? You act like you'll be a mile down the road before you get moving. Theres a guy around where i live that has a supra done by Titan Motorsports, and it has a GT47-88 and he drive's it 2-3 times a week. And it get's up and goes quickly. Not much lag at all. It's all how it's tuned.

I've driven a few, My dad had a 2.3 Mercury capri rs and it hardly lagged at all, i mean the turbo wasn't huge but still. My buddy has a MKV GTi with a gt28rs tiny bit of lag but nothing major. I know what lag is. Now day's with VVT turbo's on cars you really don't have that problem.

Thank you for proving my statement. IF a stock turboed car and a 325hp turbo have noticeable (although small) lag, imagine what a 1400hp turbo will feel like. VVT, do you mean twin scroll?, VVT is only on engines (Variable Valve Timing). Anyways, twin scroll is usually ONLY on OEM turbo's.

A GT47 that spools quick, who do you think your kidding? He's stuck at 150-200 hp until 5000rpm'ish when boost hits.. guaranteed.

EXACTLY. People dont realize that a well-rounded 600-700 hp Supa will WAX a 1000hp Supra in every aspect of speed until over 100mph + when the 1000hp beast stops spinning.
