To clarify, Gene Stridel is my uncle. He belonged to the 1940's group The Striders. He sang with his brothers James, and Charles; who was my father. He died this past Thanksgiving and was the last of the Striders. My uncle Gene died in 1973. They all were tremendous talents and worthy of recognition.
Was he a member of a group at one time? If so, which one? What a beautiful voice. Wow... Can you imagine how many amazing voices there are out there that've never even been DISCOVERED?? Just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
