This review almost prevented me from giving one a try, but after ordering a few others online and being unhappy with the quality, I reluctantly gave one of these a try - it is FAR better than reviewed and easily the favorite of the jackets I've tried. Shoulder pads are indeed ridiculous - if you're okay with removing them, this jacket looks great and feels even better, great in the heat. Order a size up and despite what is said here fit is excellent.
