Thanks mate for this cool old school demo. I own an original EMSSyetem 2000 vocoder and you can hear my music if you check out the soundtrack to electro barry. there is a quick trai lfor a hip hop vid and there is a soundtrack to it posted by me AUDIOTRON My friend helped with the music but I directed the sounds and spoke live on my vocoder. Once again thanks for the sounds Barry
I purchased a couple of cheap VA synths because I got sick of listening to all this modern rubbish. Analog owns but some of us can't afford that gear now. My hearts in the right place & I will do my best with what I've got to create old school style street sounds & synth pop. I'd rather create LIVE crap with energy on hardware, than listen to todays manufactured brain dead shite. Us beginners have to start somewhere so think before you dis. I've payed my dues to real Hip Hop. B.Boy .sPOT 1983
@funkb0x Its no dis, to those who "own In the box" software,,, I know the hardware is very expensive and I agree with you all the way on analog vs digital,, It pisses me off when people see a huge music studio and think "hey, all this hardware that costs $100,000.00 Dollars can be duplicated by software for $500.00. Thats when I get angry,, because they dont have the "ear" to realize that these sounds CAN'T BE DUPLICATED EVER!
Yeah, my setup is the same. I use the MPC-60 to sequence everything, an Akai AX-80 synth, and lots of samplers for my sound.
Yeah, now if you want to get a Jupiter 8 you have to be willing to drop at LEAST 3 grand, and be willing to drop at least 500 a year to keep it up to speed!
Shit, I wish I had the Oberheim. Prince used those on some of his hottest tracks.
I see that MC-50. I used to use the Kawai Q-80. I was watching the MC-50 for a while, but never got one. I see em go for between 100 and 200, and the Q-80 goes for 50 and is ultra flexible, 32 tracks with really dope/easy step write.
that's the beat! :)

I've started my own repair shop for my own studio.
It's a lot of work though! I repaired 3 S1100 by scrapping another two.....
I'm always busy on something!
I build my own MIDI interfaces and stuff, because some manufacturers stopped making them.
My Korg Trident MIDI is the geatest success i've had, it is superb, see my video's for that.
