This isn't He-Man. The guy is King Grayskull, He-Man's ancestor. Also, the sorceress isn't He-Man's / Adam's mother. His parents are King Randor and Queen Marlena. And lastly, the woman in the video isn't the sorceress we know from the stories, but also a predecessor.

This is from the New Adventures of He-Man, where they re-wrote the history. She-Ra was intended to be brought into the storyline but it was abruptly cancelled before they could work her into the new mythos. Essentially, ignore the original series and She-Ra when it comes to this series.

Well like most of the new show they would have changed the events some and if any thing Hordac could have had some one on the out side kidnap her and send her to him much the same way he tried to get skeletor to bring him back. He was like a Baberian in the original marvel comic magazine. In this new series they lost the chance to do something better than the original one (very tough mission, but it could be possible). It could be a good Cartoon.

But the design is very robotic, squared.

I think it was named "Greyskull" AFTER this event... And not just based on color, but by the sadness of it's time-marked event to the shade of gray (greenish t'me though), but all in all the term grey meaning sadness and an inbetween of good/evil.

If you haven't noticed, the "pocket monster" type of shows are, in a way, another form of advertisement for their products. Little pre-teens go crazy about the collector cards and electronic gadgets that are offered along with the hit show. He-man didn't have much to offer other than the show itself; especially because the viewer age of He-man was probably the 80s generation like you said, the toys offered won't even sell. I'm bummed about He-man getting cancelled myself, but that's life.

King Grayskull's wife. In this episode when she gather's the 'Elders', King's Grayskull's trusted servants, she promises to be the guardian of the castle's secret as the 1st sorceress.

Shame they cancelled this. The show kept improving and it they really tried to make it as cohesive as possible (barring the Adora omission. The fight scenes also got better.

Teela's possible father is hinted to be Man-at-Arm's brother, Fisto, if we factor in his disappearance during the war and loss of memory.
