@fullahxsunshiine If you watch the other national geographic documentary "Where were you?" you get another perspective of this from the Air Force pilots that were dispatched on 9/11. At that point, they didn't have any definitive orders from the President, they were flying with their own judgment. They weren't even armed. They also decided that if a plane had been hijacked, they would do whatever it took to bring it down (in the words of one pilot - hit his eject button and aim the plane)

Buildings don't fall down like that without help. There was at least 70 to 80 floors of undamaged building under the impact zones of those buildings. How could they simply disintegrate?
