I wish that NBC would go back to having their sports announcers wear blazers w/ the network logo (the peacock). Only CBS (and to a lesser extent, MLB Network for their Thursday night baseball game telecasts) still has their announcers wear a "uniform"-like network coat w/ the logo.
@TMC1982Part2 and TMC1982Part2, they should also bring back the microphones with the NBC logo (not the NBC Sports logo) just like in the 80s-90s when NBC had the NFL's AFC package, the NBA and the MLB.
@iLO80 I must've been looking something else. I think I just responded to that guy without seeing the play, thinking it was a forward pass. Definitely a fumble.
@deeniemarie7 Well, Cleveland wouldn't have had a prayer against San Fransisco either that year. Montana, Rice, Craig, Lott, among others. No one from the AFC would have had a shot. I'm sure, in hindsight, Denver might not have minded if Cleveland won this game! lol
@gmorales14 if Cleveland had played SF, no doubt it would have been rematched on Monday Night Football. It would be until 1993 that MNF would cover a SF-Cleveland game - it was the last time the Browns won a game aired on ABC.
When the Browns lost their third AFC title game, Browns fans felt they were robbed of the Bernie Kosar-Joe Montana matchup at Super Bowl XXIV.

9:22 How is that a fumble if Humphrey never caught the ball in the first place?

@LimeZYX Rules were different back then

@GialloHorror That rule still applies. If it's not forward, it's a lateral. Laterals are live.

@LimeZYX Elway threw it behind him, so it's a lateral. Counts as a fumble instead of an incomplete pass.

It would have been nice to see how Cleveland would have done in a Super Bowl
instead of having to watch Denver get DESTROYED 3 times.
