another good fight, and thankfully Paulie got the decision this time, and he made Juan look patheic for most of the fight. He threw more right hands than i've seen him throw, and he threw a lot of left hooks off the jab. And this crowd was awesome, they were into the fight all night. As for Diaz, he needs to run back to 135, or heck, even 130. He looks likes he carrying around a lot of extra weight.

Malignaggi outclassed Diaz in that one. I think Diaz is overated. He fights hard, but he's been outclassed a few times and received favorable decisions. I think the scorecards were pretty accurate in that fight, and believe me I'm the first one to be outraged when I see an injust score.

Malignaggi needs to realize that beating a sloppy Juan Diaz is as good as he is ever going to be. Sucks that Paulie won here, but Diaz pretty much gave it away.

He also shouldn't talk about Pacquiao, especially in the way he has been. Try that showboat shit in front of PacMan and you will wake up in the hospital.

Hatton is a hall of famer, but I think Malignaggi may have a shot if they ever fight again because of the age factor and I really think that Pacquio fight followed by his TKO loss to Mayweather really took a lot out of him. Do I think I rested younger Hatton would ever lose to Paulie? No. But Given his collision course over the last 2 years I think he should stay retired. We have to give Malignaggi a little credit, he's got a phenominal jaw. His only two real losses were to Hatton and Cotto.

But, it falls to easily apart when he is facing a constant pressure fighter such as Hatton.

At any rate, I would rather see him fight Hatton again even if Hatton should lose than another fight with Diaz, or even JMM for that matter. Marquez at this point seems to have a lot less steam in his tank than Hatton.

Both of those fights he got dominated in, but didn't stop fighting. When his corner threw in the towel in the 11th against Hatton he was outraged. He never went down, but took a beating to both fighters. I'm glad he got justice in the rematch against Diaz because Paulie won in Texas as well. That was the worst decision I've seen since the Leonard/Hearns II draw. Boxing has to clean up the judges. There was another terrible decision in the Williams/Martinez fight. I had it an even draw.

It's sad enough to hear open conversation about how the judging might favor the hometown favorite, which is bad enough as it is, but when a judge is pulling a 119-110 out of their ass when the other two have it somewhere near even, it needs to be looked into.

It's this sort of shit that makes people not even want to watch any more.

Yeah its sad, its the kind of thing that makes people stop watch boxing and switch over to MMA. I can see your frustration about Paulie saying he thought Cotto would be too much for Pac, I was kind of annoyed too. But in his defense Cotto is phenominal, I just don't think Paulie realized that in Pacquiao we're talking about a guy on the same level as Marvin Hagler.
