Hi. I talk to my mom. And she said that is not fair and she told ME that is waaaaaaay too fast and that you need to brought it back to your hobby shop for a refund. She also called the Police becuase you are speeding.

are those stock diffs. i keep breaking my diffs evertime i drive it. mamba, c4 9200kv motor, 1400mah batt. dont know why i keep breaking them. can sone one help. its a 18mt
thanks will loosen them up, when i get a new servo for it, broke it full speed into a tree. that and rear shock tower broke only. it was a good crash. need to get a video can so i can put that kind of stuff on you tube.
shit! what esc you have? i have the 18b aswell and was using a 15c when it caught fire. i had the mamba 6800kv combo. motor wires melted and the esc looked like charcoal! any ideas on what might have happened? thanks for the reply as i'm fairly new to electric.
Well , you have the mamba COMBO , so the motor and ESC should fit together... Maybe you got I wire to the motor disconnected while you were running the car. If not , I don't have any idea on what could happen.
oh well maybe it was the size of the battery. it was a 2200mah. but if it was only 15c it doesnt matter what size the battery is does it cause the discharge is always the same. is that right?
someone just told me that the amps = double the c rating. so if i had a 15c battery hes saying im drawing 30 amps through the system. is that right or he full of shit? thanks for your help.
Actually, the amp discharge from the battery is the C rating times the capacity. If you have a 1500mAh battery with a 15C constant rating... 1500mAh times 15C is a 22,500mA... divide by 1000 to convert to amps... 22.5A constant discharge rating. Always get a battery that is more amps discharge than you need, or you will overload the battery and fry it. If you burnt the motor or ESC check your gearing or tires, it's probably geared too tall. Put on a smaller pinion or larger spur.
The video is horrible. Stay with the buggy. You can't even see it half the time

I completely stripped my stock diffs with the c4 like 2 years ago. I gave up. No one has metal diffs

If your buying 11.1v lipos why buy 600 mah? Make the better investment it pays off.
cjm502 4 years ago
I think it was a typo (6000)
Triangularism 3 years ago
6000 mah!?!?!?! that would be a HUGE lipo in an 18t, i think he meant 600. which is pretty small, way more performance with somthing 1500 and up.

The diffs are acting as slipper clutch at the same time. Make sure that they are not too tight !

right , the ESC will draw the amps it needs. If the battery is bigger , it will only last longer.

someone just told me that the amps = double the c rating. so if i had a 15c battery hes saying im drawing 30 amps through the system. is that right or he full of shit? thanks for your help.
imdanicklebum 4 years ago
That is right ! BUT , if the ESC is 20 amps Max for example , you will never draw more that that on the battery.
Summerride 4 years ago
on the battery? or was that supposed to be from the battery?
