You know I really find this sad. Not because of the precious wasted car, but because of the sheer decadence and perversion of the idea. They just destroyed 60.000 dollars away, when there are so many people in this world who can't even afford their own food. Just hiring a world class CG studio would have produced better results and would have cost only a fraction of the real car.

I really hope the people behind the idea just think about what the hell they're doing...

yeah I know, but they probably treated this photo shoot as "instead paying the model, pay for the car". So either way they still pay roughly the same amount of money.

To me this is an absolute waste of money, could've used that car for other promotional purposes (like give it away in a competition to boost your magazine sales), let alone feeding the poor. These stuff just angers me.

The car was 100% complete and the engine was still in it (they show you it intact in the video and they sure as hell didnt take it in the car park of my local pool!) The car was brand new a dry (no oil, coolant, battery or brake/clutch fluids)

As for it being a waste of money, no one would say a word if they had flown a photo team to Fiji and done the shoot on a beach, and that would have cost a fair bit more than the car did!
