@rwtread02 " WOOD" IS WHAT THE PRO'S USE (OR Aluminum) it's cheap, sturdy (IN THE WIND your frame with shower stretched over it will turn into a sail BLOWING! ABOUT!!!) And easy to replace broken section... DRILL A HOLE THROUGH THE SIDE OF EACH END and bolt the frame togher with 4 bolt so that you can take it a part (COLLAPSIBLE FRAME) :)
Hi @harbime Good Question but it is a standard PRO! SIZED frame, ok! the professionals manage because they could afford a van or truck... right? , So what do you do! if you do not have access to a van or truck...?

If you were to hear this guy's voice without seeing him, you'd swear it was Alfred Hitchcock talking :) (compliment intended)

Cool, but what about portability? Large wooden frame like yours will be difficult to carry on various shooting locations.

@harbime you can build the frame out of pvc pipe with elbows so you asemble and disassemble quickly for transporting.
