Question: having never had a haircut shorter than a standard flattop, can any YouTube viewers (especially who may have previously got the same as shown in this video) tell me what it feels like to have a clipper quickly peel all that hair off. How fast is it and how short are the clippers? Could the clippers get even closer? Does it hurt while clipper shearing? Are most guys nervous to watch it happen right before they get their heads buzzed? Also, can the public watch USMC bootcamp haircuts?

@PAFlattop It stings. They press them into your head. You ask yourself if they sharpen them. It happens fast. They get payed like 4 or 5 bucks a person so they get you in and out as fast as possible. They told us when we got there if you have anything on your head, like a mole, to tell the barber or you most likely will bleed. The barbers don't take time to look at your head.

ive been getting my hair high and tight since i was little, now im close to 17 and in 3 weeks i will join the delayed entry program with the USMC, 2 weeks after that i head to harrisburg for meps and swear in, a year after that is boot camp. the title of "Marine" is one ive been in search of for the better part of my life, and thanks to the help of Staff Sergeant Lugo im getting closer every day.

we are allowed to grow it as long as a regular crew cut, not like the guy in the first chair. when we're fully finished and retired, we can make it as long as we want.

My experience was we had to keep it "sidewalled" on the sides and back but you could have it up to 3 inches on top. Definitely no pony tails though. If that kid doesn't get discharged early, he won't be wearing another pony tail anytime soon.
