@ekultus 1. Not grinding. Grinding is killing endless shit with no reason but to gain xp. WoW was and is questing that =not grinding. If you consider Questing grinding then you should not be playing MMOS. 2. As bad of crafting as it has crafting. 3. @dilt4 Questing is grinding. Questing just means you're too dumb to kill 20 beasts by yourself hence they need to make a narrow path with quest that says go kill 20 beasts. The trick has worked as it convinced you that you are not grinding even though you are grinding.

Boring isn't the right word, they added 2 raid bosses since launch..You have like maybe 10 bosses in total, and only 2 tiers exist, and all loot is class-specific...So its 2 sets that only give bit higher stats then the first one for each class. When the raiding is over i guess all you can do is level in red quests(or grind(73-80 is grind only)) or you can bash stones and chop trees that are always in same spots and have a 20 min respawn. Just..don't buy it, trust me.

lol, cos you can only build cities and building in fixed areas. Tbh it does kinda kill the point of being able to build stuff if you can only build like 8 buildings where they want them. Also you can only get stuff for buildings in the same areas. And also there are only a few things you can gather, so out of a huge forest theres only say, 20 trees you can cut down which grow back within 20 minutes or so.

I played Anarchy Online 2004-2008 several months at a time and was my first mmo i ever played,after that WoW was just silly to play i mean Im 24 y old now in the virtual world i dont wana be a fat bird or a stupid tree so If im gona play a game Its AoC. Since AO is played since 2002 i belive AoC has the same long life,and from that xp Im sure theres more to the game then u see from vids.

Only problem in my case would be if my PV is suficient uber :P If not Il need to twink it

Theres nothing more to it then i said or you've seen, it doesnt have 10 man raids or anything its just 1 boss with 1 h trash killing, 1 boss with 20 min trash killing and a big instance with 3 wings which can all be cleared in 3-4 days without problems, droprates are messed up totally and all drops are class-based and bosses arent challenging at all, you can 17-man them if youre in a good guild.The only thing you can do when not raiding is lvl alts or mine, nothing else.Lack of quests aswell...

i have started age of conan efter leaving WoW aswell. Stormproductionzz, tell uss about age of conan. How is the end game content? I know that AoC is cooler for PvP:) more skill, more pwning noobs. But how about PvE, late game?

And. is it very gear dependant for pvp? like wow etc. etc.

As expected, 40+ is where content fades, 73-80 is pure grind, 80 is just mining and raiding...No more raiding alliance cities, no more BGs(there are but noone does them)...Nothing to do.

-Siege Battles(WG siege sucks)

Guild cities are a great idea but the way to gather resources for them is the worst in history of MMO's i've ever played and i played a lot.(gathering system stuffs).

I doubt you'll find more then a few guilds who do these cause losing a siege means rebuilding T3 battlekeep

Content fades at lvl 32 or so, only 1 zone per like 5-10 lvls, in WoW i have like a selection of 5 zones for sam lvl(in early levels anyways).

In Conan i have 1 capital city and only 1'faction'(example, alliance and horde)

All there is to do at lvl 80 is mine and raid.Game is buggy(can't tell i mind it but it is).

PvP is horrible IMO.

73-80 is pure grind.I can't believe i actually did make it to 80(now its easier with people boosting you).

They added a lot more content since launch. Just a few days ago they added a new level 43 dungeon? Cradle of Decay and I think 2 or 3 new level 80 dungeons with a new lvl 80 instance in Black Ring Citadel.

To me, WoW is full of 12 year olds and gold farmers and they simplified it to suite their needs.

Also, Conan has only 1 starting zone, WoW has 1 for each race.(or almost every race).But there's only 3 races in Conan while there's like 10-12 in WoW.The only way to earn money is by selling tradeable epic stuff and mine.Mine system is horrible just makes you click piles of stones in 3 resource zones, mixed by random MOB attacks(anti bot i suppose), WoW professions are way more fun and take more skill and time IMO.Its also way easier to earn money.

I mean, a guy with 1/3 of a brain could operate WoW and earn oney fast etc. Age of Conan requires and actual economy to earn money. The battle system is unique aswell, instead of just click and attack and occasionally use special attacks, you actually have to think about where you sword hits to do more damage.

You must of left ages ago if you think it is buggy. During it's early period it was buggy as hell, but now it is soooooo much better.

Anyway, I would say it is your computer rig. If you still get heaps of bugs, it is probably due to low RAM or crappy Graphics card? If you don't have one that can support Age of Conan well enough, it can cause a lot of lag.

Much of the game's currency and trade is based on economics, the production and trading of resources, materials and equipment. You may have to only click a stone or tree to gather resources, but it takes time and effort to actually make money from it, like real life economics. All WoW does is sell stupid epic armour type stuff so you can endure attack? and waste your life on a dated game?

You obviously haven't played in awhile. The game is on it's way back up and I wouldn't be suprised if it had over a million subscribers in 1.3 years or so. For a game that failed as much as AoC, that is a great improvement. It won't be free2play because it is a great game. Now WoW is buggier than Age of Conan, though the new patch they released did have a couple issues which I believe they have fixed or are in the process of fixing. If you aren't playing an epic game like Age of Conan because it has bugs, why are you playing any game at all? You have to expect some faults in a game.

You can't compare a game like WoW to Age of Conan because WoW has had years to get it's players and most of them are the Warcraft RTS fans and their friends.

Totally not true, this was filmed early in the morning when i had a free day, people have a job you know, its not WoW :)

There ARE lots of NPC's in guild city, guild city requires lots of teamwork and time, and to be able to even craft high level stuff and do massive pvp you need a guild city.
