You make a VERY interesting point concerning the 'bio-hazard' issue.

Your question sort of works both ways.

If the ET is in there to protect it from our germs then why no suits for the medical 'staff'.

If the ET is in there to protect us from it's germs then still, why no suits.

Also, unless their biology is VASTLY different than ours how can they live in a universe filled with pathogens? Our own survival actually depends on a symbionic relationship with germs.

All that being said, this has got to be one of the most disturbing videos I've ever seen for its oddly surreal quality and apparent 'realism'.

I'd also tend to question the notion that the medics are of less than top notch quality when dealing with such a momentous situation as this appears to be.

If I had to put money on it. I would bet we are looking at nothing more than a pretty damn good puppet. I have two issues with this. Number 1 the alien never moves his arms. Now of course he could have just not felt like moving his arms but it casts doubt on the alien imo. Secondly there are points where the aliens entire body frame seems to drift diagonaly. To me that just looks like a puppetier repositioning a puppet rather than natural movement.
