  • what's the title of the song of Led Zeppin??? Please!:)

  • @vickycolette The name of the song is Kashmir

  • im a huge beatles fan but john lennon does not even have a great voice, hes good but nowhere near amazing. freddie mercury and paul mccartney completely destroy him. I like how famous people get put on top just because they were more popular and talked about peace or whatever. the most impressive john lennon song is twist and shout and he never sang anything like that ever again. im not saying hes bad, in fact hes good but nowhere near the bests like freddie, and paul

  • YOU MISS RONNY JAMES DIO AND MICK JAGGER!!

  • Agreed, Freddie has the best voice there is.

  • I didn't know Adrian Brody was a famous singer.

  • OH, I AM SO SICK OF FUCKING MERCURY, THAT FAG! He and Robert Plant sound like Screechy Girls, coulldn't you have put Women like GRACE SLICK or JANICE JOPLIN instead of Guys who sing like EUNUCHS? Don't like Bono, Delp, Tyler, Plant, Perry, or Pink Floyd. Or Elton or Joel. JIM MORRISON should be #1. What about DAVID BOWIE, that's a Smart Gay! I can't believe that Dummies actually don't like some Smart Groups because it's Beyond Them!!! Euthanize them! :(

  • @54markl freddie and robert plant sing completely dif. freddie is not squaky at all, his voice is melodic not annoying. hes not like ac/dc or aerosmith.

  • Steven Tyler Is no 1 he is the best singer Freddie Mercury is No 2

  • and AXL ROSE ??????

  • @luxik007

    shouldn't even be considered

  • I don't understand! Where is Joe Cooker, Paul Rodgers , Steve Winwood , Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger.

  • Brad Delp had the voice of an angel

  • steven is a great frontman not a great vocalist with multi instrumental skill and beautiful scream and scratches

  • Comment removed

  • U2 IS NOT CLASSIC ROCK!!!

  • Roger Daltrey!!! <3

  • Bono? No. Just no. Not only is he not a classic rock singer, but I'm not even sure I can call his whining "singing".

  • Ronnie van Zant... Rest in Peace..

  • ruim

  • 10 is too small a number to fit so many great rockers, someone is always going to be left out. Also, I kept waiting for Paul Rodgers but like I said, 10 is too small a number

  • I agree R.I.P. best singer of all time Freddie

  • Oh yes, Rod Stewart number 3, but his voice is so distinct it is in a class all by itself. Robin Zander number 4

  • Before I even see this list I am going to go for Freddie Mercury & Roger Daltrey. Nothing can change my mind on this.

  • queen annoys me but freddie mercury had an amazing voice, brad delp should be higher, love aerosmith but dont think steven tyler has that great of a voice, paul mccartney should be 3rd to steve perry & freddie mercury, Steve perry should be number 1, roger daltrey has a good voice, john lennon should b lower than paul, jim morrison is ok sometimes but he sounds too monotone, gota love robert plant, bono is ok i guess, what about nancie wilson of heart? or steve walsh of kansas? no tyler/morrison

  • @Squirrelman48 - Nancy Wilson is good, but Ann Wilson is the main lead vocalist of Heart.

  • this was a hard list. GREAT job. ive always thought paul sings better than john and im not gonna change my mind, but as we say in my country "para gustos los colores", which basicly means everybody has different likes and you gotta respect that. I think we all think freddie is a GENIUS tho

  • I knew Freddie was gonna be in this list! Good place too.

  • John Fogerty???? oh well this was great

  • Lee, Rose, Young? would have been nice but it is kinda hard to sum it up in 10. Good choices :)

  • i think Robert Plant should be number one

he puts SO much soul into his preformances

  • um.. why does boston have one of the flintstones as its drummer?!

  • I love how it's all live footage! It really shows how these singers have talent, unlike today's crap, which only consist of manufactured bullshit.

  • where's axl rose?!?!?!?

  • @MrFredhuggins198 dont know he should be hear

  • Brad Delp!!!!!

  • its nice but for me is best robert plant

  • Fred is the best, really true musician............

  • bono is a great singer and i do like u2 but he is not classic rock unless the person that posted video this meant 10 top singers that he liked and not 10 top classic rock singers other wise i liked his choices but then again its hard to decide cause theres so many talented singers out there

  • wheres glen huges

  • R.I.P. Bon

  • my first rock song i herd was we will rock you by queen i never new freddie died :(........how did he die pls tell me R.I.P. freddie

  • @TheRiot504

unfortunately he was killed by bronchial pneumonia as a result from AIDS.

  • @TheClassicrock75 o O i thought he oed on somthnng or got hit by a bus or got shot not a STD :/

  • @TheRiot504

    didnt he die of aids

  • @henryg05 yep :/

  • im really sorry i dont disagree with the fact john lennon and paul McCartney are good singers but... i just dont feel like there some of the greatest of all time in terms of powerful voices. I know ill prob get a lot of angry comments for this one lol but I think Sebastian Bach has one of the most powerful voices his range is amazing an can just Annilate any song he try to sing idk thats just my opinion though

  • Freddie forever my mom my dog is named after you R.I.P.

  • 1 - Freddie Mercury forever

    hugs from Brazil!

  • Based on pure singing ability, my top 5 singers, in exactly this order are:

    1. Freddie Mercury

    2. Robin Zander

    3. Roger Daltrey

    4. Robert Plant

    5. Bon Scott

Runners up would include Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, Bono, Rod Stewart, Sting... all in no particular order. There are just so many great classic rock singers.

  • @alcest35 Of course, since Freddie and Bon are both dead, and the voices of Daltrey and Plant have both deteriorated from their former glory, that leaves Robin Zander in the top place when it comes to still living, still working and can still carry a tune. Awesome singer.

  • 1. freddie mercury from queen

    2. roger waters from pink floyd ( how is he not on there)

    3. axl rose ( also needs to be on there)

    4. john lennon

    5. mick jagger( also needs to be on there)

  • John Lennon is an overrated egomaniac. His material released after the Beatles was nothing more than Yoko Ono inspired trash. The only top ten list that Lennon belongs on by his own merit is the top ten most delusional hippie hypocrites of all time.

  • @flesherWI so u dont like imagine wow i think u need to see a doctor.

  • axl rose?

  • JIMMY SHOULD BE NUM 1!!!!!!!!!!

  • good choices!

  • Freddie Mercury is definitely the best. The pioneer of Rock music!

  • Solid list, Freddie is the best and he's also a boss. Not sure about Lennon though, as far as vocals not writing probably more top 20ish. Freddie is the King of Rock forever.

  • bono is a shit! he made the biggest shit in the world once! (south park :D) ps: brad delp is awesome! :D and steve perry is a great singer too! just look at the vid here and youll get why heh and freddie was awesome!

  • make a top ten with the best guitar players

  • you need to increase the list to 13 at least and add: bon scott, brian johnson, and david lee roth. you could also add axl rose, but im not sure if he should be placed with the best or not

  • @thetyphoon11 increase it to at least 14: and also add mick jagger ( cant believe i didnt think of him) and also possibly roger waters

  • @thetyphoon11 people need to separate singers from frontmen. For example Roger Daltrey is a great frontman and a great singer. Robert Plant is a great singer but a average to lousy frontman. Steven Tyler is an OK singer but a great frontman. Bob Segar is a good singer but an ever better frontman. Freddie was a great singer and a great frontman. Jagger is a good singer but an even better frontman. See the difference? David Lee Roth is a great frontman and a great singer.

  • WHAT ABOUT PETER ANDRE???

  • The problem with picking the best of ANYTHING involving classic rock is that there is SO MUCH absolutely fucking epic stuff to choose from.

  • Dio ? :(

  • FREDDIE RULES! Although, wher was Axl Rose, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Scott, and David Lee Roth?!

  • you where missing three people

    geoffe tate

    bon scott

    bruce dickinson

other than that a pretty good list.i would have put brad delp up higher

  • STEVEN TYLER <3 AMAZING BEAUTIFUL CRAZY VOICE. HE IS THE BEST=)

  • i started wacthing this video, i saw bono's name...i left

  • Freddie number 1? are you kidding me. Brad Delp is way better

  • FREDDIEEE! YOU ARE ALWAYS THE BEST, I LOVE YOU!

  • decent vid, but there's no way Plant should be number 4. He definitely belongs in the top 2 spots, but hey, I'm too lazy to make a video...lol

  • @xxrobbie1 agreed, its not like world of warcraft commercial when u can just say PROVEN BY SCIENCE FOOL

  • Miljenko says hi.

  • Before I clicked this video I was like, "better be Freddie, better be Freddie, better be Freddie", good pick :)

  • Yeah!! Freddie Mercury #1!!!

  • omg...steve perry 4tw

  • 2:18 kristen stewart?

  • number 1 is not my favorite band, but i agree with your choice

  • where's IAN GILLAN??????

    the best ever

  • freddie...

  • May call me a troll but.......

John Lennon has a crap voice, i said it

And robert plant should be number 2

  • Steven Tyler in 8th!?

  • richie sambora should be in this list

  • great list but replace Steven Tyler with Paul Stanley

  • @tiegsey Steven Tyler should be nuber one IMO

  • @tiegsey What are you retarded? Paul Stanley? He shouldn't even be in the top 20 he can't sing for shit....AND Steven Tyler should be in the top 5.

  • @metallikuh520 I like Aerosmith too but IMO Paul Stanley is better. to each his own. btw name calling is juvenile. grow up.

  • jim morrison should be second ! and robert plant third.

  • robert plant , bruce dickinson , dio and mercury are the best singers

  • im Axl Rose Fanboyish O.O but i also like other singers like freddy :) he sings so damn good.. but most of this guys ive never heard their music

  • Idk about Bono. he's a great person and a damn good singer but I'm not so sure he belongs on this list

  • gotta petes little dance XD

  • i hate steve perry. plant is better than all of these guys. followed closely by daltrey

  • @ledzeppelin3270 steve perry is amazing stfu

  • John Lennon 2nd and Plant 4th? LOOOOOOOOOOOL

Plant is the best ever, followed by Mercury. And no way in hell Bono is better than Dio, Bruce Dickinson or Brian Johnson.

  • @afonso1 I'm with you.

  • Great list. Totally agreed on the whole thing.

  • this was a great list but you for AXEL ROSE!?!?!?!?!?! i would replace steve perry i know he has good pipes but axel is from another planet and infulenced rock more...kurt cobain, dave grohl, eddie vedder are also amazing vocalists

  • AGREE R.I.P Freddie ...

  • IT IS!.... MORE THAN A FEELING! LONG LIVE BRAD!!!

  • definitely agree with freddie mercury as #1 but paul is a better singer than john

  • Bono at #10 you are mad

  • @dennniss100 more like extremely smart... u2 sucks

  • @jdawg013 this song that is played here is not the greatest U2 song listen to other songs and you will change your opinion . U2 and Depeche mode are the greatest bands in the world. their music is unique

  • In my opinion Robert and Freddie are number 1 Led Zeppelin is my fav But Freddie is still amazing but i like Robert PLant more

  • Where's Ann Wilson?

  • brad delp #1 R.I.P. and nice top 10 but i think you could have done better vids to show their vocal abilities on some of them

  • In my opinion #1 are John Lawton and Ian Gillan)

  • Why didn't you use Love Reign O'er Me for the Who?

  • So, and where are Ian Gillan??? And Burton Cummings!!!

  • Comment removed

  • u should have put rock and roll form led zeppelin rock and roll is song where plant really showed how good he sings

  • I totally agree with this list. Freddie was simply the greatest singer of all time. period.

  • #1 is Jim Morrison. #2 is Freddie Mercury, #3 is Steve Perry. The rest is a crap shoot. Where's Dave Grohl?

  • EWWWWW U2? how

  • john lennon was in no means the best singer, maybe the best song writer, but not the best singer

  • what the FUCK?????

    where is DIO?!?!?!?!?!?

  • It's not easy to decide top 10 since you have to leave many great singers away but WE ARE ALL SURE THAT FREDDIE IS NR. 1 NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!

  • I totally agree with this countdown!!! Only I pry would have put Perry #2, Mercury #1 lol. No Lennon. Or Bono lol.

  • bono!!!!??? wtf he's a crap singer

  • In the same way that Michael Jordan is #1, Freddie is #1.

    That is indisputable.

But to leave the great Burton Cummings off the list is a travesty. He sings much better than anybody on the list with the exception of Freddie.

  • steven tyler, strong voice, still can sing till now

  • Geddy Lee? FREDDY MERCURY IS THE BEST SINGER OF ALL TIME!!!!!!

  • axl rose???

  • What song at 1:23?

  • @21stCenturyDeadline Boston-More than a feeling

  • YOU ARE SO RIGHT freddie mercury was a great singer no THE greateats singer :) good vid

  • oh come on, McCartney was a better singer than Lennon. Get out of here.

  • Klaus Meine is the best hard rock singer in my opinion.

  • @dngl21 not the best but pretty damn good

  • Do us all a favor and post the entire The Who: Live at Kilburn-4:00

  • BRAD DELP IS THE MAN

  • if i could pick 4 vocalists to teach me how to sing i'd choose:

    Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin

Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers

Mike Patton of Faith No More

    Brandon Boyd of Incubus

  • good pick with freddy at num 1 but u should switch john lennon with paul mccartney i know alot of people like john more but it is a fact that paul is a better singer john is a really good at makeing songs though

  • @posieidon2112

finally, someone who is not a lennon fanboy

i think that paul is way better too,as a singer and a musician

i actually kinda dislike john lennon

  • @posieidon2112 how is it a fact?

  • @posieidon2112 no it is not a fact. its completely opinionated.

  • @posieidon2112 i strongly disagree especialy then he sang strawberry fields forever he was made to sing that song and if paul macartney sang it he would nearly be as good.

  • Freddie is number 1 in my book.

  • Robert Plant looks like a combination of Severus Snape + Jason Becker. Lol.

  • Great choices Freddie is great but Steven Tyler is the best

  • BRAD!!! Like, nobody knows who he is and it makes me wanna cry. R.I.P. buddy!

  • Bono Classic rock? I do believe you are wrong. Please prove me wrong

  • Not in order: 1. Roger Daltrey 2. Robert Plant 3. Paul Rodgers 4. Lane Staley 5. Chris Cornell 6. Jimi Hendrix - yes, Jimi Hendrix! Very underrated singer! 7. Bon Scott 8. Eddie Veder 9. Phil Moog - UFO 10. Peter Gabriel
  • @amstell13

Everyone listed isn't very good except Robert. And Jimi is underrated 'cause he's not good -_-

The only people that are pretty close to being good are Roger Paul, and maybe Eddie.

    Jus' sayin' ._.

  • @AfroMan1171 , your a dumbass! Chris Cornell is an awesome singer! So is Roger Daltrey, Lane Staley & Paul Rodgers.

  • @amstell13

Saying they're awesome is like saying David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar are good.

  • @AfroMan1171 Robert Plant is one of the most annoying singers of all. Robert < Roger..

  • @NascarGoose Well think what you want, we're all entitled to our opinions. And on that note-Roger was, and always will be mediocre at best, Robert>Roger.

  • @AfroMan1171 What about Freddie? Duh.

  • @Guibu2

    Yeah, what about him?

I know he's the best singer to ever walk the earth.

  • All great singers (especially Perry and Mercury), but in terms of pure vocal quality I don't see how you could not include Meat Loaf and Elton John. Both actually were pretty good showmen as well.

  • Youre probably tired of this but i really dont give a shit, how the fuck can you put steven tyler as num 8 and not shoot yourself afterwards?! I mean i can understand steve perry and freddie mercury but you put jim morrison and robert plant before him you son of a bitch!

  • Bono.... to bad.

Paul Mccartney is nice but not very special.

I think Steven Tyler is much better.

    But where is David Coverdale???!!!!!!!

He has the best Voice of this Planet and he was the singer of Deep Purple and today he is in Whitesnake!! Thats a Rock Icon!!!

  • Just my thoughts - what about (as vocalists), Jorn, Ian Gillan, Dio (maybe), Tony Martin (post Ozzy), David Byron (Uriah Heep), Paul Rodgers (Bad Company) - as i stated - just my thoughts.

  • @ploogthegrip

Obviously it's hard for everyone to agree with the top singers, but I can say that Paul Rodgers shouldn't be in the top ten. I saw Queen+Paul Rodgers in concert. Rodgers doesn't even compare to freddie mercury, who is easily top ten.

  • Great Video. What was the song that Bono was singing? Thanks!!!

  • ♥Robert Plant!!!♥John Lennon!!![R.I.P.]♥Paul McCartney!!!♥Freddie Mercury!!![R.I.P.]♥Jim Morrison!!![R.I.P.]♥

  • I think there is a huge difference between who is the best SINGER and who is the best FRONTMAN for a band. I totally agree on this arrangements of singers - though some are missing in my opinion - but when we include showmanship I would, for example, put John Lennon behind Roger Daltrey, since the latter keeps a better grip on his audience, and makes it more of a show. Though this does have something to do with the time they were playing in.

  • I love this list! It´s perfect , it has all my favorites :D

  • john lennon will be missed rip john 4 ever and long live him and the beatles as well as music. Peace to the world.

  • my paulie -- 7 WTF he's the best

  • SHIT Curt Cobain has died why those mother fuckung drugs

  • M.M.P

    Morrison

    Mercury

    Plant

    :D

  • Freddy & Steven Tyler Are The Best

  • robert plant and jim morrison
