Paul said to let no man deceive you, Christ would not come to gather his people until after a great falling away and the man of sin is revealed. I'm not "jw", but I can tell you that I've heard Billy Graham tell Robert Schuler that there is "more than one way to God", not just through Jesus Christ. I believe tha he may have said the same on Larry King Live - as I definitely know that Joel Osteen did - but you'd have to check to make sure my recollection is correct on that. If someone preaches that anyone/anything else but Jesus leads to God and redemption, then they are a false prophet.

Sounds like ol' Jimmy Swaggart or his son speaking. I believe Deuteronomy 8:18 and 2 Corinthians 8:9 just as much as I believe "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47). Can you say the same?
This doesn't make much sense to me. First, he calls eternal securtiy a lie and explains that the "sinner's prayer", as it is typical protestant teaching just like eternal security also, is heresy. What he is referring to is the doctrine that a sinner is "eternally secure" because he has repeated some prayer. Repeating a prayer does not save anyone. One must place their faith in Christ Jesus, and this saving faith is acommpanied with repentance. Yes People PRAY when they are saved, but the prayer does not save them. Catholics rely upon their own set of rituals, like baby baptism, and they grow up being told theya re Christians, when they have never trusted in Christ and been born again.

Romans 7-19 Paul said, "For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want." - Yet Paul had EVERY assurance he was saved. If we sin Jesus is faithful to cleanse us.
Also he describes he state in Romans 7 as being "Sold under sin and carnal". We know that Christians are REDEEMED from the bondage of sin, and sin no longer has dominion over them. You must read Chapter 6, 7, and 8 together. Eight explains that the Gospel does what the Law could not do. But thanks for the response.

I'm not "jw", but I can tell you that I've heard Billy Graham tell Robert Schuler that there is "more than one way to God", not just through Jesus Christ. I believe tha he may have said the same on Larry King Live - as I definitely know that Joel Osteen did - but you'd have to check to make sure my recollection is correct on that. If someone preaches that anyone/anything else but Jesus leads to God and redemption, then they are a false prophet.

I have had my eyes opened spiritually. I know I was dead before and under babylon (confusion) I slowly gained wisdom from my curious nature and starving for truth. Truth is love. Hello, If a man lives in a habitual wilful sin he can have no assurance of salvation. God's grace brings men to confession and repentance.
As far as Roman 7, Paul is not speaking as one who has been saved by grace through Christ, he speaks as a Jew convicted by the law: notice his words.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
