I live with Sickle-cell anemia and I'm a 13 year old, I was not offended because you all tried, and I can accept the fact that you all made an effort and were Learning about it at the time. Hoping you know now that its not exactally like that, and for all the people who keep say they were Inconsiderate, Stupid, dumb, or any other negative coments involved... You guys should have should have been considerate and instead of insulting them help the and explain where they were wrong.

When you wrote this, did you know that 99 percent of sickle cell patients die before the age of thirty? You can't just take drugs and make it better. They treat anemia with blood transfusions, but all that does is cause the body to develop antibodies and make transfusions even harder. I knew a girl that died at 19 from SCA because she aquired so many antibodies they could no longer find matching blood. Have a heart and take this blasphemy off you tube.

well im just gonna say that atleast you know about sickle cell which is more than i can say about alot others.but the statement taking meds will make it alright is like a slap in the face to us with sickle cell.because in reality there are days(some more then others)where we have o sit in excruciating pain.we have 2 choices everyday...go through the day unable to focus becuase of pain...or be trotally out of it becuase of drugs....and thats hell....but i digress.nice effort though for the song.

where in the world did you get the idea that if they take drugs eeverything will be fine. Sickle cell Anemia is a very painful and hard disease to have. In some patients is is handicapping. I should know I have Sickle Cell and I dont know what it means to be without pain.
