Strongly disagree with this review...My father has this SUV and everything inside his SUV is falling apart..We talked to the dealer and they just said that "well..its just time to change the parts.." for crying out loud..this SUV is only 3 years old... If have choice of buying next SUV will not return to Nissan...
damn!!i cant stand my armada somtyms..evrytym i drive on d unpaved hiways or evrytym i hit a pothole my steering wheel shakes..just dont know wat to do than to trade it w/ that recall sequoia..mine is titanium evrything stock..my friends told me change my coil spring, shocks,or change my tires to little bit bigger..i love my suv but i cant stand that shaking thing..help pls...
armada stomps all over an expedition IMO, I've owned both, I miss my 04 armada only thing ever needing replacement were tires and fluids in the 70,000 miles i put on it
I have to get me a Nissan Armada Platinum. Touch Screen Navigational System with hands free voice recognition technology pushing a 5.6L V8 380 lb./ft of Torque.
I've had an 04 since new, just approaching 100,000 miles and the first significant maintenance (a radiator), just ordered online for about $150.00. All in all.. not bad at all. The 4x4 system can rotate the earth. I pulled 7500 in reverse once.
I also have an older Chevy Silverado with about the same amount of mileage, quite the piece of junk by comparison, the 350 can't tow anywhere nearly as much, and the torque doesn't hold a candle to my Nissan. Quite the POS too.
I have a 2006... We love it.....Low maintnance too. ALL I have done is 1 set of tires 1 battery 1 tail light bulb and 1 set of front break pads....Love it
I have an '08 and i love it. It has a great amt of power and it gets you up to speed quickly. Nice engine growl too. But the break rotors are warped because i think the rotors are too small for the size vehicle it is.
they are still makin the armada and the quest is coming out in 2012 with a different model look and my dad owns an 08 they are sweet ride but not good on gas .. i also own myself a 2002 xterra anda 1997 sentra to be onest i dont need any more cars then those nissans are very strong cars .... and stop fightin for stupid things
I have a 2005 Armada, the rear seats do fold flat, you need to pull up on the recline handle and push them down once they are folded. Perfectly flat load floor ensues. This is a great truck.
This is way too ridiculous, why spend more money for the Infiniti when, this is such a replica of it, that's why we didn't get the infiniti, not like I would get this either, we got an Enclave but still.
cuz your mama's old ---i drive an armada and i bet you buick grandma SUV can't even tow 9100 lbs trailer---ha!ha! can't even go off-roading-- your buick is a peace of shitt!!
Lol you dumb piece of shit, you obviously know nothing of Buick in the last 2 years, and of course it can't tow that much and perform good off road...IT'S NOT A FULL SIZE SUV like this, you stupid ass, it's a crossover. Do some research, a lot of research before you comment on shit you have no clue about and make a fool of yourself.
The QX56 is about $12,000 more than an Armada. Before 2008 you were getting more for your money if you got a QX56, but post 2008 the cars are almost identical. the current Q is just a Nissan with an Infiniti badge and with an analog clock.
I really liked this review so I checked out the pricing near my area in St. Augustine (near Jacksonville in Florida) and went to the Nissan of St. Augustine website... They have a 2009 Armada priced at only $37K plus a $6000 factory rebate! I thought that sounded like a sweet deal! Has anyone seen a lower price in their local area?
That is a very good price... they wanted $52,000 for the '08 Armada i got last year and i talked them down to $40,000 because big SUVs are slow sellers. The Armada you looked at was probably used for a short time to have a price of $37. Where i got my Armada... there was one there that was used and the people who owned it only had it about 5 months. (and i almost baught it) and it only had around 10,000 miles on it. they wanted $39 for it. So yeah, that is a good deal for the car you looked at.
The Tail lights of that thing look exactly like the tail lights on a 2004 dodge ram. Coincidence?

who actually needs a full size suv?
sndd0138 1 year ago
@sndd0138 Those that want one, and not another Corolla, respecting those that do.
jlcii 1 year ago
@sndd0138 people that have big boats or big trailers and carry a lot of people while pulling the trailer. its a very small niche
itsTiLER 1 year ago
@itsTiLER okay, fair enough. but, majority of the consumers that waste their money on full-sized suvs are doing it for status.
