Alucard has had a major part in the defeat of Dracula (who is THE Prince of Darkness) several times, along with having battled with the legendary Belmont clan (a famous family that trained to kill vampires with a religious fervor) and either winning or escaping. His cape turns into wings, he can summon bats, ghostly apparitions, and a powerful poltergeist in the form of a sword. Sephiroth got his ass handed to him by a 18 year old kid with an over-sized plastic sword. Just saying. ;D

@voodkah yes but alucard was never the bad guy he had the misfortune of having dracula as his father, he's such a good guy he even sealed himself away so that the dark powers of his father that were handed down to him would never touch the world again, but had to break out when Shaft, the idoit, summon the dark castle and his father back from the dead. so even though the belmonts try and kill him he never kills them only gets away and shuts himself away from the world

My personal opinion about the game:

bad:

- character design is too different from the iconic castlevania characters. the design itself isn't that bad, it's just not castlevania anymore.

-gameplay is a little simplistic. The game should have been a bit more extended (longer story, more moves)

good:

-fighting game with castlevania characters!! playing is just plain fun

awesome:

music. The music in this game is truly awesome

@Felgrand101 I agree. Aesthetically is less gothic and more animesque, and I don't really like the design, and the gameplay is too simple.

The stories are plain topics, but it's a fun game and it has a good sound track.

And it's cool to see Grant again, even if it's in a mummy visual kei thingy style. I really missed him xD

ok i don't wanna be harsh since the designers must of put in work into this so um , it looks ok, but i think it would be better adding golden colors in for some of the silver places and take out the U looking line one his chest running down the sides that kinda struck me , anyways there u go ^ ^

Are u serious, they killed Alucard's look, the white hair um maybe, the costume a epic FAIL, not to be mean but seriously they make him look like a girlie young kid instead of a kick ass Vamp, the voice also sucked ( no offense to Sasuke lovers out there ) but i hate the fact sasukes voice is in this, that really killed Alucard, poor Alucard he got killed in almost every way , i want old alucard back !!

Is this game good? Have not tried it myself but I don't think I like the style of the castlevania characters. The manga style doesn't suit them, I think. I prefer the old gothic look. They look so immature in this style. The music is good though.

Nah, that's actually Aeon's theme. Alucards theme is a badass version of Dracula's Castle.

The game is great, but is more like a Action game that a normal fighting game.

Read the IGN Review, is the best one.
