Before Khun Sa died in 2007 (of old age) it was estimated he was shipping 2,300 tons of Heroin a year. Post Taliban Afghanistan, under Karzai's drug gang, is reported to be producing 70% of the worlds heroin. How much do you think that is? 4,000 tons? Anyway it looks like these poor villagers are having their few pounds of raw opium destroyed for the cameras. You know you could buy that lot there for about $100. How much did the fuel and C4 cost? So much wank!

It's ridiculous that US taxpayers are paying for a drug raid on the other side of the planet. Ironically they are also paying their troops for guarding Poppy fields. (Opium production went up by over 150% since the US invasion.) They should use that money to help people who are facing foreclosure.
