  • This song is pure fucking LSD man!!!

  • what is this drumer?

  • Yeah, I'm nearly 14, I don't see what's so good about computerised and auto tuned music :/

  • My God. I think this tore me a new asshole.

  • This is what i grew up playing the drums to. Excellent band, very underrated, imo.

  • why couldn't i have been born in the 70's xD they had sum kickass music :D

  • @CrazyMizfan11 i went and seen them live a couple of months ago.

  • I'm 16, and it makes me mad that not many kids my age like music like this, Thin Lizzy is way better than all these lame techno groups that are coming out >:l Wish I was part of a cooler generation.

  • @RunTyRun5 thats okay......im only 14.......

  • happy bday phil :)

  • @bobmarleyisgod1, Maybee bigger, but not better ;)

  • I believe i grew up listenin to Thin Lizzy, Cat Stevens, Southside Johnny, Van Morrison, Def Leppard, and many christian rock groups when i was little. Man, Thin Lizzy is the shit, in my opinion, bcuz they fuckin rock!

  • One of the best albums from the best band Thin Lizzy!

  • great drums

  • @TheDsmyth Great guitar playing as well!!!

  • They popular song is ,,The boys are back in town"but they also have other good songs

  • so deserving of being in the r n r hall of fame...but probably will never get there because they were/are too damn good

  • yeah. this song has a bit of everything. metal, jazz, soul. just fucking billiant four man rythm section.

  • @bobmarleyisgod1 only because lynott didnt sell his soul to the music industry like the others ...

  • Our band does a version of this with a chick singer, 3 piece. Search for "Night Of The Wolf Moon, Deep Blue dJinn" if your interested.

  • 2 People have good reputations.

  • best band around

  • RIP Gary Moore. What an awesome song.

  • @RocknKylie0428 I've got NOTHING against Gary Moore, but I'm getting a bit tired of everyone thinking that Gary was the "sound" of thin lizzy. He was barely even in Thin Lizzy. The double guitar sound of this song, and MOST TL songs was the combo of Scott Gorham and Robertson. Period. So it gets a bit old, when people hear this song (and other bad ass ones like it) and say: Damn, Gary was awesome. He WAS awesome, but HE's NOT ON THIS SONG OR ALBUM.

  • @ruthylopez I agree 100%

  • @RocknKylie0428 Gary had nothing to do with this song as far as i know.

  • Is it just me, or am I heavily reminded of ZZ Top?

  • @nicksterminator6 it's just you.

  • @nicksterminator6 i thought it was zz top too when i first heard the song on "dogtown & z-boys". realizing that it's thin lizzy. all i can say was "fuck me". this is a real badass song. why can't rock music be this dangerous and cool? fucking nickelturd and all of those pussy bands playing on the radio. they suck!

  • @nicksterminator6 ZZ top??

  • @bassmanjoe Yes! It sounds like ZZ Top.

  • R.I.P Gary Moore, Feb.6th 2011

  • @medude6652 RIP Gary Moore, though he didn't play on this song. He re-joined the fold in 1978, during the recording of "Black Rose: A Rock Legend."

  • it stuns me dat sumone wud thumb this down

  • Totally baaaaaaaaaaaad ass.... yeah!!!!!

  • i like it very much^.^

  • Everything about this song, album cover and band shouts "Dudes".

  • kick ass drumin!!

  • @nathan16ish Man..I was just thinking the same thing:) Gives me the chills..

  • early metal

  • @Rockchild1992 what do u mean early metal what about judas priest? black sabbath? deep purple? rainbow? all before 1977

  • @Rorschachxx1985 well before those name got big Thin Lizzy started the whole glam rock thing along side with KISS

  • @Rockchild1992 Glam Rock predates KISS slightly, and started in the UK in the early 70's. KISS took it in a new direction, though. Made their own thing of it.

It was much more T. Rex and Bowie who kicked it off.

  • the drums are just awsome on this

  • @pawnsacrifice1 Ooooh yeah!! :)

  • YEAH!!! Early heavy crunchy grungy stuff!! Thanks Morgie!!!

  • What a great song!

  • this song kickss ass and i hope it rapes whomever that one person who didnt like it in the throat.

  • best song thin lizzy ever did dont care what you say if you wanted thin lizzy then this is it

  • Brian Downey is one of the greatest drummers of all time, a pity hardly anyone has every heard of him. His drumming on "Chinatown" is also incredible.

"King of the Shuffle" Gorham used to call him.

  • sorry john bonham is the king. accept it.

  • @RollUpAFatOne I was going to say Jimmy Page or Jimi Hendrix but....

  • @RollUpAFatOne How about Keith Moon?

  • amazing song

  • simply awesome sound..this is TRUE rock....

  • I love this song,I heard it earlier today and I was looking for it because it was on the Dogtown Documentary

  • I would agree that Downey was probably a better technical drummer but Keith Moon had a style that was truly unique.and the Who could never find a drummer to fill his shoes.

  • you got one thing right...

  • What a great song

  • Downey really breaks it down on those drums. very underrated drummer. in my opinion Downey is better Keith Moon

  • underrated bad ass stuff

Thin Lizzy were amazing...........too bad phil died

  • to be honest its two bad tha music aint what it used2 be i mean this stuff was bad ass now we got sissy bitch's claimin there gangsters and no true rockers

  • heaviest song ever written

  • @zealberg Not even close.

  • awesome

  • @guyatrandom yes it is

  • this song rocks dude

  • One of my favorites.. I just love how it ends its one of those songs that keeps playing on in your head and each time it goes different

  • I can somewhat play this on my bass guitar :D

  • bad ass tune!

  • I can never play this on drums lol. My arms would fall off!

  • this song has a really cool drum break down... early speed metal style there. some jazz and bonham too.

  • @mrdreamwhip lol bonham is definitely a sweet style
