green day was more than ok before the big sellout. green day was one of the first punk rock bands that I got to hear up in Finland and I really dug deeper to find out what it's all about and found all those great bands.

@samiam47 I'm quite old - my 25 y/o son recommended this song to me, with some background story about how the DK weren't asked back to the awards again, I think. Good song, good message. "Holiday in Cambodia" is especially good ie way the singer lets himself go & guitars etc. I don't know why you don't like U2 though - they had some good songs after the '80's, and Green Day had "Long View" (I think) which was a good song.
